My experience with this clinic through visiting once two years ago and via phoning recently is that the receptionist and doctor whom I've talked to, always sound like balanced and clear minded friends towards their clients. (Please note, this is not a Muslim clinic it is an Australian clinic in a Muslim-ish, area, if that makes sense). I'm not Muslim and, like many of our Muslim brothers and sisters, I was born in Australia.

I believe it's because of kindness from good people I can recognize human values and genuine respect as well, which I feel they have. It's not easy to find people who care, so this clinic has my support.

I've been attending for 2 years and it's the best place I've been for mental health help to date. It originally took 10 months for me to get an appointment but that's to be expected as there are very few bulk billing psychologists/psychiatrists. I've seen Both Lisa and Suzzane and they're both amazing professionals and great people. I've always been welcomed and cared for entirely by the front desk staff as well, Summer and Shazia are lovely ladies who treat everyone with nothing but kindness

Not well organised. Have been referred here twice for two of my children. Both times we were advised that the referral had been sent through and waited many weeks for the staff to contact us to arrange an appt. In the end, sick of waiting, we called to see when we would expect an appt. They had difficulty finding the referral (one of them had been hand delivered) again telling us they would be in touch - nope, nothing for another 4 weeks. We did eventually have an appt made which they cancelled and said they would be back in touch to remake the appt, again radio silence, we called again only to have the same senario repeat yet again. I can't really say whether the psychologist was good, because we couldn't get in to see them, but the front office staff were extremely poor.

I recommend Dr Alam to anyone who needs a psychiatrist who listens and is not into just drugging your problems away. I told Dr Alam that I did not want to be drugged up and put on weight. He listened and didn't brush it off and
make me feel even worse. I did take one star off due to the wait time but I can honestly say, the long wait was well worth it. I recommend Dr Alam 100%. As regaining your mental health is a long-term journey and a quick fix is not the best way pathway to your wellness. Wait time only means he is good at what he does and that he is in high demand. He is caring and he explains your treatment plans with you not at you. I am looking forward to living my life with a little more normality than being an anxious mess 24/7.

Feel like this only applies to Muslims. I've had nothing from multiple attempts, all the reviews and my treatment at the reception was pathetic. I was supposed to get an appointment but nothing but bull.shet..

Great reception staff and even better doctors! I won’t mention any names due to patient and doctor privacy; but the doctor who I have been seeing for few years has helped me so much throughout my journey.
I can’t thank them enough for their time and effort in trying to help pull me out of my dark days. I’m here today because of the help I had and I’ll never be more grateful!
Yes it is tough to get an appointment which is self explanatory because if a doctor is good then they will have their patients returning to them which will in turn mean they won’t have enough room for new patients AND it’ll be harder to get an appointment.
Nevertheless, once I’m there and I book in advance I’m at peace knowing I’m in great hands.

Exceptional front desk service. The psychologist Akrim has a special way about him and relates so well to young people within our community. He is understanding without judgement which is exactly what our youth need.

This place is a disservice to the society it is established in,appointments are extremely difficult to make because you can never get past voicemail,messages left are Never answered. Appointments that have been taken 3 months in advance are cancelled to suit their convenience, whatever else their business be,it should not be health,that takes character and in my 2 years of interaction I have seen evidence of none whatsoever.
Take your online presence down so that you do not continue to mislead people in dire need.
