Seems like standard health and wellness isn’t a priority here anymore. They called my father in for an appointment on Friday bcs there was availability. Mind you my father suffers from lung disease and struggles moving. He carries an oxygen tank around. So his original booking for Monday was never removed when they literally told him they’ll give him the next available booking
which was Friday bcs someone rescheduled. So they’re demanding money from us. But that’s their receptionist messing up and we’re paying for it. And we tried explaining and they stood their ground told us we should cancel
. But the thing is we didn’t book, they did. Idk if money is hard for them rn. But with the demographic in Koondoola being majority immigrant families. It feels like they’re taking advantage of lower-socioeconomic people who are already struggling and using their lack of English to gain extra money. Disgusting behaviour. The receptionist is rude and passive aggressive. Not the first time too. It’s funny also bcs her English isn’t like 5 stars but she treats us like we’re the ones who don’t understand.

Booked in for a long appointment for contraceptive insertion, but then they called me to reschedule to earlier time (which was fine). I come into my appointment today and the doctor said I didn’t book for the LONG appointment just the standard
. okay already starting with a small problem cause all they had to do was move my appointment not my appointment type. Then as Dr Zahra and I were discussing, she realises there’s no more local anaesthetic
What do you mean you and reception have had me booked in for a week.. it’s your responsibility to check if you have the medical supplies and correct equipment for the patients you have on the day and for the rest of the week. If you don’t have supplies that’s fine JUST call to reschedule people first. Biggest waste of my time. Then had the audacity to tell me to wait another week. No, thanks.

Had my appointment booked by Maria which was a smooth and easy process. The receptionist was very nice and welcoming. Dr. Mei has to be one of the best doctors I’ve ever been to, she was concise with her diagnosis and was a great help. Very well run establishment and I’ll definitely recommend them.

Doctors are awesome, reception is awesome. But since new managers its all profit based now. Been 3 months they havent replaced the fridge for vaccines. Very unprofessional. I have to source somewhere else for my sons vax

We actually loved this Center, doctor Zahara was amazing, an Asian nurse (apology, I forgot her name) was amazing, and we used to bring our new born here for immunisation and all kinds of problems. And leaving them good reviews.
Today we went there for our daughters 18 months vaccination, and found out the nurse was different, she was a South African lady. We were a bit reluctant, but doctor Zahara said she’s ok, so we went on. Let alone she is not caring or friendly, she forgets things, and when it comes to injection, her hand was a bit shaky, and she’s really rushing. she made our daughter bleeding, my husband just asked do kids bleed (while injection) ? The nurse replied ‘not my fault, she was moving’. We didn’t even given her attitude. when the third injection done, she didn’t even wipe the arm, just took the needle out and turned around to grab cotton. My husband just said that you didn’t wipe, she replied ‘I did, I know what I’m doing.’ She clearly didn’t, cos I saw that as well, I hate myself that I didn’t say it right there.
Anyway, arrogant and mean attitude, and unprofessional and rushing work.
Not an exciting experience at all.

Love how this medical centre is still bulk billed!!!! Dr.Michael is the best he really takes time to listen to his patients and doesn’t rush you. However the reception staffing can do with a lot of training in being friendly but I guess it’s the same in all medical centres ( good doctors but rude receptionist )

I left very good rviews last time, but unfortunately I had to change my review after visiting this place today.

It used to be a nice place, but today it seemed like everyone one was in a rush.

They had nurse Turey, she was really good. But now that she is gone; new nurse did not impress us at all. A bad bad experience.

Doctor was also in a rush. It's a no go place for my family now.
