Amazing hostel, one of the most fun I've stayed at in my travels. Great outdoor space in the back, and they have a lot of staff working to do repairs and keep the hostel clean.

Vibes are great, and there's always people to hang out, with the beach a short walk off. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. If you're in the Gong for a while, definitely a fantastic place to stay.

A homeless man came into my dorm at night while I was sleeping (I was alone in the dorm atm), he managed to open the locked door of the dorm and slept in a bed. My roommate found out when she came in after a night out. The staff removed him from the hostel, but didn't call the police. In my opinion they should have called the Police, the safety of guests should be priority. The guy could have come back. This was a very scary experience for me, to know afterwards that a hobo was in the same room as I was for a while and what could have happened if he had bad intentions. The hostel has to work on the safety.

Luxury and clean bathroom (unfortenately there were some cockroaches).
Dorm is a bit small for 4 people, but the beds are good.

We stayed here a couple of nights and really enjoyed our time. The backyard is beautiful and designed to be a Bali inspired gardens vibe. We were so excited to see that the owners have dogs on the property so
this is a must stay if you love animals. The dogs are so friendly and we were able to pat and snuggle them all day.
The little fluffy white one stole my heart and I was sad saying goodbye.

The location is truly the best. Walking distance to everything and easy access. This place has no parking on property but we found some streets really close with all day free parking.

The owner, Kerri, was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. She told us she has been running this business for 33 years while raising her 5 children there and it’s amazing. She had so many interesting and funny stories to share with us over the years about the hostel.

Overall, We will 100% be back !

Thank you for the great memories

Highly recommend. The owners are fantastic and genuinely care about their guests. The place is cleaned everyday. From working there (not sponsored) each room is thoroughly cleaned, hoovered and mopped after each guest. Good location near the centre of Wollongong, close to the train station and mall. Would choose it over any place in the city. The community aspect of the hostel sets it apart. The pool table is free to use which is rare for a hostel. 10/10 would stay again

Keiraleagh House made my trip to Wollongong the best. Staying for six weeks seemed long in Wollongong at first but the hostel made it worth it. The size of the hostel makes the togetherness feeling so lovely. Nathan and Kerrie are the best hosts together with some long term guests and volunteers who makes your stay feel like being part of a big family. Very recommend for solo travellers!
