I was having bad asthma, but wanted to experience the gorges still. So I Booked this the night before for me and my son. We arrived bit earlier and were able to go up straight away. Caleb was super friendly and very clear in explaining safety. Offered to take a pic for us. Seeing the vast land and. Thinking of the tales that could be told, the people who have crossed it was amazing. The gorge itself was beautiful and just stunning. U don’t get the same experience as you would in a boat as you do feel so small when you go by boats with the rocks so high surrounding you. Both options are spectacular to see our beautiful country

We had Dylan as our pilot on a Friday afternoon ‘sunset special’ heli tour. He was the perfect amount of relaxed while being very professional and had a great amount of knowledge to share about Katherine, its surrounds and the gorge. We got to see all 13 gorges and went and saw the Jatbula trail and some other waterfalls. Came in for a very cool landing at the private rock escarpment and had some drinks and nibbles while we watched the sunset. Was beautifully silent! Quick flight back to base and it was all over.

I could not recommend either Dylan or Katherine Helicopters any more, was easily a 10/10 experience that will always be remembered. Wish it had gone for longer but doing it at sunset was perfect for myself and my wife.

Awesome flight over Katherine gorge with interesting commentary from the pilot. We were luckily upgraded to the 30 minute flight which had the doors removed for outstanding viewing . Not going to lie I was a bit scared to start with but quickly faded to excitement as I was enjoying the views so much . It was great to see Katherine Gorge from the air after doing the boat cruise a few years ago .

Fantastic tour/flight. It was everything we thought it would be and more. It is a whole different view of all 13 Katherine Gorges when highlighted from above. Great everything, we are really glad we did this flight. - the sunset flight. You cannot see what we saw, on foot. Thank you so much Katherine Helicopters, a great afternoon out.

We flew with Katherine helicopters to celebrate our 50th birthdays, travelling from the UK. We chose a Katherine gorge tour and remote sunset landing. Wow it really was the experience of a lifetime! Unmissable, couldn’t recommend it more. Thanks Fiona and Ben

We went on a 60 minute flight over the Gorges, all the way to Edith Falls. It was amazing. The weather was perfect which made lying without doors the only way to do it. Our pilot and guide Jack was excellent. Very firm to Earth and friendly. I had an absolutely wonderful time and would recommend this experience to everyone

It was very enjoyable and not tooooo scary without doors ! 😅
Loved the commentary and the scenery of course is just amazing, what a wonderful country we live in
PS loved meeting the pilots dogs as we caught the flight from his place

We had the absolute pleasure of flying with Katherine Helicopters recently. It was thrilling and adrenaline filled experience flying over the 13 gorges and many waterfalls. We are so pleased we opted for the Sunset Special, which included landing on the top of the ranges to view the sunset and topped off with champagne and delicious gourmet nibbles. We felt completely comfortable with Dylan, our pilot, who came with amazing credentials and many years of flying experience. Being a local, his commentary was excellent. We cannot recommend Katherine Helicopters highly enough.
