I cannot speak highly enough about the level of care that I received today from all the staff involved. The compassionate ladies on the front counter were my introduction, and I have never been to the clinic until today. They listened and leapt into action. When they realised there were no appointments available anywhere in Katherine at a GP, they created an urgent appointment for me to see Dr Catherine. Gosh, she is amazing. I'll say this about our town, we have some of the best doctors! And it was wonderful to be on the receiving end of care for a change instead of being the one always delivering care. My hand is sorted out and my anxiety and fears have been allayed.

We had our appointment to day for our 3 months baby today 24/06/2024 at 10:40 am. We reached there at 10:30 am with our 3 months old baby. When we reached there I ask the receptionist we have an appointment for our baby at 10:40 am she told us to grab a sit and it won’t be too long. Around 10:50 am I went to ask the receptionist how long it going to take as our baby was crying she said that the doctor was running late and will take around 20 min. After 25 min I went to ask aging and the receptionist gave me information that the doctor took the someone else whose appointment was after us. The staff in the reception were very rude when they are questioned and didn’t have any answers to my questions. The staff said that all they can do is reschedule the appointment. I felt staff were racist in their behaviour towards us. This is the 2nd time they had done this to us.

I was so impressed by this medical centre. I attended 10 minutes late, one admin staff stayed back so I could have an ecg. Nurse practitioner was outstanding, very thorough and professional. After attending another medical centre two days prior, and having the most negative medical experience I have ever had, it is such a relief to access people who know what a comprehensive and thorough medical assessment is, and who are happy to go the extra mile. Very much appreciated.

Jen Cullen is a very competent and thorough Nurse Practitioner she is very easy to talk with and to and is very choice and solution focussed in terms of ongoing treatment plans. She is patient centred and allows me to discuss any of my fears and doubts and helps support me to make my own health related decisions. Over and above my expectations of a Medical Practice may they practice for many years yet :)Maggie Smith

Waited 30 minutes for my appointment - that's ok, I understand that sometimes clinics run slow. However when my friend went and was 5-10 minutes late for her appointment, they told her they would have to reschedule it and she would have to pay for both appointments...
My appointment was with a nurse practitioner instead of a doctor. I don't recall being told this and I was under the impression she was a doctor. No disrespect to nurses I just wish they were more clear about this. Also I dont understand why the nurse practitioner is the same rate as the doctor?
I asked for two different prescriptions including an IUD prescription and wasn't given either. I was given false information regarding where I could get an IUD prescription and where I could get the insertion (I have since been told you can get all of these things at Bauhinia clinic). My appointment went for 25 minutes instead of 20 (apparently) and I was charged $125 instead of $85. Again, where is the clarity on this? Had I known I simply would've spoken faster.
I got told I had results that were non urgent and I called to tell them I wasn't happy with their service therefore I would not be booking with them again so if they could give me my results without an appointment I'd appreciate it, considering something is wrong? They told me no id have to book an appointment. Crazy.. they're my results, aren't I entitled to them? Especially if something has come up with my results.

So basically I really wouldn't recommend this place considering I waited, over paid, was given little to no information on what I came in for and then also given completely false information on what is a sensitive subject, then refused my own results. I will have to go to another clinic to have the exact same consultation. So basically the whole consultation was redundant and cost me double (: enjoy.

Blonde lady on reception is amazing, so lovely both on the phone and in person. Made us feel very comfortable. The practice is also very clean and modern

Had to use their pathology services for blood tests for the first time when my usual one was closed, they failed to forward results to my doctor and I returned to enquire about my results?
The receptionist was rude and just keep saying would’ve gone back to my doctor and refused to understand that it hasn’t

Called to book an appointment. New patient for the practice but grew up in this town. Not accepting new patients. Don't waste your money. Go elsewhere.
