Thank you kalwun Miami for all the heathcare you provide to not just me, my kids also.

We have been lucky enough to have seen your dentist, gp, gyno, dermatologist and nurses, let’s not forget to mention the friendly girls on front desk, always a smile and friendly hello, makes the not so loved experience into one that way better!

Disgusting experience. Always trying to avoid either Telehealth and also now saying I’m out of range after Doctor appointments & between 2-3 dental visits, so I’ve had visits before and only told this now when I had to cancel cause I can’t afford dental this appointment and wanted to re-schedule. Plus my last dental was cancelled due to them not having dentil docotrs.

However they say Coomera can’t either and came up with NO HELP for me at all didn’t give me an alternatives just said “I have no idea” the manager and the reception were extremely rude. Also Kambu in Ipswich which is the EXACT same distance for Coomera & exact same time could fit me in Asap for a health check so I can get dentil. I wouldn’t have wasted my time on Kalwun if they were gonna do this to me. If I was a customer and could choose between Coomera or this one CHOOSE COOMERA. Or choose Kambu! Reception was so lovely there and best served over the phone. Don’t go here! Horrible experience they’re also rude and interrupt you on the phone and speak with disrespect.. and I told them that I’m working yet they made that big hassle on the phone while I’m trying to work. Extremely unprofessional. Go to Coomera or Kambu a different company guys, I would give 0 stars if i could!

Kalwyn is the Indigenous Health and support service assisting people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent. They have 3x offices on the Gold Coast at Tugun (South), Miami (mid) and Coomera (North). While the services they offer are very good and include checkups, exercise programs and social groups specifically for men, women and elders, the Miami office is not well set-up for those in a wheelchair. For those requiring ramp access, park on Miami Shores Parade as the Gold Coast Highway entrance is only stairs. There is some undercover parking but from what I could see, there did not appear to be an elevator. The ramp is narrow and tilts just slightly to one side so is a bit hazardous. Inside the centre, the doorways are narrow so can make it difficult to guide a wheelchair or stroller through. For those able-bodied, I did not see any issues. Some services are restricted to clients who choose Kalwyn as their regular GP clinic so best to ask beforehand. On the positive side, they do offer a service to pick up and drop off clients for their appointments at Kalwyn.

After many horrible experiences at classic way practice my sister put me onto kalwun, absolutely 💯 amazing team. And always feel welcome and they have gone above and beyond. If I could give then all the stars in the sky I would. Because they are all worth it.

Michelle the midwife at kalwun is the most helpful, passionate, caring midwife there is, she is such an angel, I'm grateful to have had her help me in my pregnancy journey's. Michelle deserve a midwife wife award in my opinion🩷💐🙏🏽

If I could give negative stars I would. Don't bother with the ombudsman they don't care try the actual Australian medical association... this is the place to come if u want to be lied to have health treatments neglected due to drs with holding information you specifically ask for in relation to chronic illness and treated they don't care if u ate aboriginal if u don't look it or know your history due to broken families you will be left to rot. If you need referrals you will be told only your regaular dr can do this even if u dont have one. If u request to not see a dr they will ignore this n put a patient into a position where they feel unsafe and not care. If u have mental health issues b prepared to b discriminated against and actually refused medical care because you become upset after having these things happen.

Absolutely great service. All the reception staff are absolutely wonderful, kind and welcoming.The health workers are all great and one lady goes above and beyond always. And Dr Ros is great for both kids and adults. I am said to be leaving the state after finding such a great doctor and clinic.
