I had the Chicken Burger and chips at Kaleen Family Fast Food, and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was tender, perfectly seasoned, and paired wonderfully with fresh veggies. The chips were crispy and golden, just the way I always like them.

The best part? The friendly atmosphere and quick service made the whole experience even better. The staff were welcoming and got my order out in no time. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to for a tasty, satisfying meal!

Lovely staff, always friendly and helpful! Great location, we love to get coffee from there before shopping at coles. Often no other cafes are open, but this one always is! 🙌🏻

Bought hamburger with the lot,which I would describe as lifeless in all respects, also had chips with chicken salt,to be avoided like the burger.
Overpriced at $22.50
Weren't return ,there are far better options for less elsewhere.

Convenient because it’s close to my house. I would recommend the hot chips, kebab sticks and battered sav. The beef burger was dry and chicken schnitzel burger the patty was over cooked and the mayo is too sweet. The Chico roll had an odd texture, almost creamy. Vietnamese coffee is a must and so is battered fish.

Turn over was good. It was hot and not much to complain. If anything I didn’t like the chicken salt but next time I’ll get plain salt. Otherwise it was good, beats not having to cook

This use to be my go too. They do great fish. But charging $2 for one potato scallop is outrageous. $2 for a slice of potato. I know businesses need to make a profit but $2 for a single slice of potato is taking the piss

Got the chicken burger, probably one if the worst I’ve ever had. The chips were soggy after only a couple of minutes in the wrapping. A burger, small chips and a drink cost me $25 which is way too much for what I got. Would not recommend

Not the Best place to get Chips and Potato Scallops. I have been there three times and still the quality of the chip and oil is disappointing. The chips are very oily and don’t taste fresh. The oil is not as fresh as it could be. Evidence is clear when you see how brown coloured the food is after cooking.

Pros:
1. Nice staff and very quick at cooking and preparing the food.
2. Price of Potato cakes are fair

Cons:
1. Oil seems over used and shows on the finished product such as chips and potato scallop bring to burnt.

2. The potato scallop batter is to soft if not eaten straight up after ordering but even then I have had better.

3. The chips are no good. To skinny and not the traditional chips you would eat from a family takeaway. Perhaps add the frozen chips to the clean oil and avoid the chips from being room temperature. The chips were burnt and potato tasted old like it was frozen too long.

When somebody orders $7 worth of chips and 5 potato scallops please pack the scallops in a separate box and not together.

I have visited the takeaway three times and would recommend the other Kaleen takeaway (see review). That said there is always room for improvement and I will update the review if things change.

The staff seem like good people so try it for yourself. The fish looked pretty good.

I had the worst hamburger I've ever eaten after paying for mine ( I went to another shop while my order was made) I noticed them cooking someone else's they took out a frozen patty like you'd get from Coles dropped it in the deep fryer then put it on the hot plate I actually asked them are the hamburger cooked fresh and was told there frozen couldn't even swollen one bite wouldn't waste my time or money shame use to be good will never go back again
