We have been receiving Home Care Services for just over 12 months To say that we are disappointed with the administrative side of the service is an understatement. The staff who comes to our house are generally good. There is a distinct lack of communication between the office and us the customers. Quite often it is too much trouble for them to make a phone call advising us that there is no one available to come to our place to provide assistance.
As they say in the classics "They couldn't run a chook raffle in their local pub on a paynight".

If I could rate JBC any higher than five stars I would. Ten years ago-March 2007 I needed help to care for an elderly gentlemen in his home and a doctor in John Flynn gave me the name of Just Better Care (Gold Coast). Over the next 9 years JBC provided 12 hour shifts 7 days a week and later 24/7 shifts and the gentleman gained a number of very happy years onto his life. While I observed other agencies with different clients I always maintained the services of JBC were far superior. I do not know where else I would be given the choice of carers and be sure that the care given was exactly what was needed and THAT IS ALWAYS THE BEST CARE POSSIBLE.

I went to better care at the start the service manager was really lovely but that next week when I signed up they didn’t have age limit and their rostering wasn’t very right and when I wanted to leave it wasn’t very professional I thought it was unprofessional

I agree with Frank. Administration is dreadful. Several messages left for the owner Bram to contact me, but to no avail.
They definitely need someone to sort things out

So disappointed with lack of service. Weeks have gone by with service being cancelled or people have left. I am elderly and disabled and have had to ask friends to help and also had to pay commercial rates for a cleaner. Tough on a pension.

A joke. the carer you sent to me said she was here to do 3 jobs only. she sat down plugged her phone in and played on it. when asked to do something she said no im not here to help.
