First time at this Drs surgery for a while. Running on time! Saw Dr Miller who is lovely. The nurse gave me my vaccination and was very professional. The receptionist helpful and kind.

how wrong was i to book this surgery based on the reviews. I am fairly sure some reviews are removed. Dr Oliver de mello is a lazy doctor who just likes money. I had a follow up appointment over the phone and was charged $170!!!!!
His reason because it was complex. He was supposed to make 2 referrals based on my results and previous medical history of low iron and renal tublar disease. Although, provided with all the information he did nothing. I ended up in the hospital with severe cardiac issues, due to him not doing his job. Not offering me a blood form to check my levels or even a way of getting my supplements, which he said is easy to prescribe, but did nothing. The hospital could not see any referral from him and suggested that I follow up with him. He said it would take 3 weeks and I would get a text message.
I will take this complaint further. There is nothing complex about having a chat and doing nothing. Utterly disgraceful behaviour with no excuse. I called the reception to ask for a reason 24 hours ago and they have still not got back to me. The receptionist are friendly and do their job unlike this particular doctor. AVOID

Staff are great, from receptionists to nurses and doctors. Appointments are nearly always on time. If you're in a hurry there's usually a spot available, even on weekends although it may not be with your usual GP. Very happy with everything.
