The Late Harry Johnston attended me for 15 years, after diagnosing my angina in 2005. I found him to be a caring and concerned Doctor. Harry was a Scot!! One look at my name will tell you a small part of the reason he took to me. The main reason Harry "liked" me as a patient was that I'd taken, and continued to take all the steps I could to take care of my heart. I'd been a smoker for many years up until age 41 (1997), when i stopped, and took up walking. After a few months, i was walking vigorously, 7km, 11 times a week. So when the angina was diagnosed, I'd been walking for 7 or 8 years. When I returned after the angio-gram, the first thing Harry said to me was: "All that walking you've been doing has just saved you from having your chest cut open". He went on to explain that the walking I'd been doing had stimulated the growth of "collateral" arteries that carried blood flow around the total and chronic obstruction responsible for the angina. AS I left his rooms that day he left me with the following: "Keep up the walking.....it will keep you off the operating table". A year or two later (2007/8) after one of my annual stress tests, Harry said to me: " You're not going to live to be a hundred, but if you keep taking care of yourself the way you are, you've got a good twenty years plus......"
Sadly, Harry only had another 10 or 12 years at that point. I certainly miss him, and i know many others do too. RIP Harry

PS Harry was no GP, he was a Consultant Physician!!

I have made several attempts to contact this Medical Practice to simply obtain and apply for a Document to gain access to and Release of Medical Records Consent form. My initial inquiry has been met with abruptness, rudeness and condescension by both Administration staff . These Medical Records are VITAL to ONGOING Health and Welfare Needs and I find it distressing to be treated in such a manner and again being refused the opportunity to gain said Information. I have called this Practice back on Redial now at least 10 times and all of my calls remain unanswered and cannot leave a message as there is again no facility or avenue to do that. I NEED THESE RECORDS, I NEED TO BE ABLE TO HAVE ACCESS TO THIS DR TO GAIN THEM. I DO NOT APPRECIATE THAT ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTS TAKING LIBERTY WITH MY RIGHT TO ACCESS.

Absolutely disgusting people. Someone used my medicare card withoit my consent. Name on their records was not mime and fraud was evident. I was told they would look into the matter and call me. After two weeks i called back. The woman at reception said "does it really matter? Why does this bother you so much?". I was appalled. It matters because its on my medical history and fraudulent. I was tild not to use that tone. She then said its lucky im not a patient of the surgery and she hung up. I phoned medicare, they stated it was unacceptable and resolved the issue.

I would recommend avoiding this surgery. They have digusting attitudes and very poor record keeping to say the very least...
