It Seems Bomford centre does not know what a carer is. Not one that buys client $60-$80 of alcohol per day then runs around telling people that he is cheating on him. Some people do anything to defraud centrelink.

Recently people from the police, ambulance and Bomford centre came to our house to take our son away. He has Paranoid Schitzaphrenia. They kept him overnight on a trolley then sent him home in the morninging without medication. He cannot get well without medication.

Did get diagnosed just not tested for the things I wanted to be tested for so I down spiralled and struggled to talk because I felt judged which triggered my manic depression bipolar disorder I also wasn’t given right prescription script for what I was diagnosed for made me have regular depression meds which never worked for me I had trial and errored all of them just to realise now I wasn’t given bipolar meds like I needed and that didn’t help when I was struggling to deal with it so wasn’t my best experience I could’ve gotten better help if I was medicated right so make sure they aren’t setting you up for a fail like myself other then that I’m happy I got diagnosed the psych was amazing so was reception just my therapist or whatever she was didn’t make me feel like I was getting helped and felt like she didn’t know what to say when I said how I was feeling which was very validating for me especially when I was at the worst with my bipolar I still would go back only if I got someone better that makes me feel comfortable everyone has different experiences though because of mental health reasons so take my experience with a grain of salt this place could potentially be amazing for you so never be afraid to do new things or get yourself help also never let other opinions influence how what & why you do what you do so if your contemplating going or not just do it because even if it feels like it’s doing nothing to help it shows how much it helps in the long run especially if your wanting to get diagnosed ect so I recommend going here even though I had mixed experiences that is going to happen when going to a place to get help for yourself so expect yourself to wanna give up my advice do not give up it’s harder doing it alone! Stay safe guys and remember you are loved also go get all that help don’t feel ashamed we all go through things and need a hand sometimes stuff what others think do you make yourself happy achieve what you wanna achieve I believe in you weather I know you are not 🖤

Thought I would give advice and some motivation because we all need it to keep us going sometimes🖤 love yourself it’s not selfish to focus on yourself and your mental health! 😇 hope this helps someone somewhere!

It feels very much enclosed and it feels like you're walking into an asylum but it's not bad all it needs is updating. The people working at the desk are kind and you can tell which doctors and nurses are in it for the money. I went through 6 case managers before I got one,

I have had a terrible experience with the Bendigo psych ward, I was going through gangstalking and they continuously put me in and out of hospital sedated me in there when they themselves were in my ears doing the gangstalking too absolutely disgusted in the health system will be taking them too court

AAU, John bomford and PARC are medication only help facilities. No real support in any other capacity.
