I don't complain as a rule, this my 2nd negative review ever in more than 25 years. I'm an original patient of this practise dating back to 1989/90. I now live down the Coast. Called the centre Monday 11 Nov 24 seeking two prescriptions which previously would have cost $5 as fee for Drs time preparing prescription. Shortly after I receive notice of a proposed tele-appointment for 12 Nov. I absolutely assumed the phone appointment would be bulk billed. Dr phoned me at arranged time and spoke to me for 2 minutes 26 seconds, confirming only that one of the required prescriptions was for the condition I have been using it for for 18 years. Shortly thereafter I field a call from reception asking for $100 payment. I asked incredulously about possibility of bulk bill but was told no, Drs decision/discretion was payment required. 2 minutes, 26 seconds including greetings and one medical question. My business is going elsewhere.

I came for a doctor appointment for my 2 and 4 year old kids who were sick and the doctor charged me $80 each kid ! When I asked about the bulk billing (kids are supposed to be bulk billed) they said it was up to the discretion of the doctor. I then had to get an xray for my son and he didn’t write bulk billed on it so I was $99 out of pocket so I was $260 out of pocket because the doctor didn’t want to bulk bill us. Very upset

Jerrabomberra medical never fails to disappoint. The admin staff are extremely unhelpful and insensitive. I am waiting on CT results and for 2 days now I have sat on hold chasing these, only to be told there is a backlog and they'd look and call me back - of course I do not receive any call backs. I have serious concern about an issue with my back and there is absolutely no support - not to mention my doctor ran an hour late and the admin staff didn't tell me when I checked in for the appointment, so I sat there with a sore back waiting. This is the last time I will ever visit Jerra medical, ever.

Will close spontaneously without warning, apparently now closed Mondays despite signage saying open 7 days, on hold for extensive time periods.
When open - fabulous doctors. But the business management side of things is just diabolical.

I was pretty sick and needed to see a Doctor at Jerrabomberra asap. Despite the challenges of short notice, Stephanie was able to secure an appointment that day. I was so thankful and privileged to receive some of the best medical care you could get anywhere. All of the staff were friendly and above all the professionalism made sure the diagnosis was spot on with the appropriate medication and follow up care. You would be hard pressed to find another medical practice as good as Jerromberra anywhere in Australia - thankyou so much.
