My husband attended this clinic yesterday. It was the only one in Yeppoon to accept a new client. The booking process and reminder phone call was friendly. The doctor was thorough and professional. We would definitely recommend.

Not even worth one star, we called the morning of our appointment to confirm the time, confirmed it twice. I was present during the phone call my wife made to the practise. She arrived slightly early to fill out details as we are new patients. They said we had missed our appointment by one hour. We questioned this as we had confirmed it. The lady said well it was just me that would’ve had that phone call but I don’t recall it being said at all. Basically just saying we are making it up. She refused to be able to fit my 5 year old in for another week even though we already waited for over a week. I called to put in a complaint to the practice manager who was just as unhelpful prettty much saying these things happen and nothing that was said to your wife was rude. If my wife had of got an apology for this taking place it wouldn’t be as bad but not even to try and squeeze us in or say sorry for the misunderstanding, Instead to blame us. Completely unprofessional and I feel as if there was a mistake with the bookings and they just wanted to put the blame somewhere else and couldn’t communicate any of it properly. Now my 5 year old has to wait another week to be seen by someone.

Cannot speak highly enough of this practice. The doctors are indeed a rare breed, taking time to treat you holistically and paying attention to you and your needs. I’m so grateful to have found them to be my family doctors

Personally wouldn’t attend this medical centre if you are expecting a baby. I had issues with Dr Kyaw Oo leaving out crucial details. When asked for a new female dr, I was refused.
I made an official complaint, it was acknowledged by Hayley the practice manager and 3 months on its never been followed up.

I can not thank the kind staff at James Street Medical enough!! I didn't have an appointment booked
and they didn't even hesitate in seeing my 14 month old grandaughter when she needed to see a doctor urgently. Every single medical centre in Rockhampton turned me away this day even though I was more than willing to wait as a walk in. The duty of care was impeccable at JS Medical unlike every single other practice in Rockhampton that without question or a single thought turned a toddler away who had a bad chest infection and was finding it hard to breath. I will always be greatful that JS Medical came to my rescue this day and put a worried grandmother's mind at ease. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. You guys are amazing!!
