Dr Thakrar has been an excellent support through a complex medical issue that required surgery. He listens well and gives practical and helpful advice to manage complex conditions to get the best outcome. Nurse Helen is wonderful for vaccinations and advice, and the reception team are always friendly and helpful.

Negative experience - Money Grab!

I was given the 'option' to get the Shingrix vaccination at this practice so I made the appointment only to be told by the Doctor that due to my age she would not give it to me. Sooo why did I bother paying for this advice, a total waste of time and money grab for them!! I asked for a refund which they wouldn't allow or understand, most unhelpful. This practice lacks compassion or common sense and I plan to never visit there again.

My GP Fiona is an absolute star and a very knowledgeable, empathetic and caring individual who always provides an excellent experience when I visit the practice. Nurse Helen is absolutely *amazing* and always makes you feel right at home, and like you’re talking to a family member. Visiting the doctor’s surgery can often be a stressful experience and even when presenting not in the best shape, these two people really try their best to see you right and lift your spirits! I have no hesitation recommending this practice and staff to anybody… Thank you so much for all that you are and all that you continue to do in these challenging times—it is so much appreciated! 🙂
