A round up of our month or so of our experience dealing with Insight works. Firstly good luck to getting through to these guys, they never answer their phones or emails, unless it’s regarding money you will get a quick response then. You would think with the money they charge they could hire actual reception staff. WARNING do not email them your credit card details-that was the 2nd RED FLAG something wasn’t right!! (First one was when they called my husband and wouldn’t say what it was about?, his name and number are stated on the referral!?) He left that call confused until I worked out who it was. After trying to get onto them again via email and phone, I finally got a call back on a Sunday morning from an unknown mobile number asking for my credit card details!?! Weird overseas call centre vibes anyone? …. Anyway they are not transparent with their pricing it chop and changes and then they will say “that they told you that amount would need to be paid in full then” NOT TRUE.-(this is for an assessment by the way)- in the same sentence they said normally you pay as you go and the rest at the end when assessment complete so when asked why are you wanting $500 prior to even seeing anyone-(originally it was 50% of the appointment-$250 is half of $500 right!? Lol-I know I wrote it down in diary when on the phone) I would never have agreed to pay $1750 at beginning of assessment (now they are requiring $500 just to secure booking which would be the FULL amount due after first session) then another $1250 amount due on that same day of first 2 HOUR appointment, the response was then “oh it’s a case by case basis”, when we said we couldn’t afford a lump sum of $1750 they didn’t try to work with us, they said there are plenty of others to fill the spot and cancelled our long awaited appointment, which we already organised time off work for HOW RUDE . I understand companies wanting to ensure they are covered for no shows but we shouldn’t be penalised for them and treated like we aren’t going to pay. I truely feel bad for anyone really struggling with mental health issues as I have not felt any kind of empathy or warmth from this company. RUN run run!
