Having gone through many rounds of therapy with traditional methods, I have been exhausted and misunderstood to the point where I stopped looking for help. Then I came across Lin and gave her a phone call, and I immediately knew I could trust this person. After 2 failed attempts to find the right person for my son to talk openly and confidentially with, I came across insight therapy and I consider it divine intervention.
Unlike the two (text book quoting) psychologists, Lin gave practical suggestions for how he could better deal with his struggles in life. Her approach was right on and paid the dividends whereas the reinforcement of mental health labels and the inevitable pharmaceutical path, as suggested by others, would not.
Lin connected with my son on a more human level and I’ll be forever grateful that I reached out to her.
