I took my mother to see the specialist at Inner West Neurology and found the staff at the front desk were super friendly and welcoming. There was parking on the street right in front of the building and signage to the rooms were clear. The doctor was professional and extremely helpful.

Dr. Silsby and the staff at Inner West Neurology have been nothing short of fantastic for the past 5 years, and I'm very sad to be moving to Melbourne and leaving them!

I’ve been seeing Dr Silsby for a few years for medical Botox and it’s always a pleasure to get treated there and see the office staff. They’re fabulous to deal with and Dr Silsby listens to me about how my muscles have been and sees if he needs to tweak the dosage.

I arrived for my appointment today and was told it had been cancelled. I showed them the SMS they sent me TWO business days ago and my reply Y. The receptionist did not know how they had missed it. She had an excuse, but without going into details, it was nonsense. They offered me another day or an appointment four hours later. I said not to worry about it - how do I know they won't inexplicably cancel me again? In 65 years this has never happened to me before. Unprofessional.

I was referred to Dr Yiannikis as being one of the best neurologists in Sydney. I have no reason to doubt his qualifications but every time I have come I have been made to wait, in one case after 1 hour waiting, I had t enquire and was told it was likely another 1 hour wait. Reception doesn't communicate or let you know by text. Considering getting referral to another neurologist who can actually keep to appointments. In one case I had an appointment for 9am, I turned up on time and the Dr walked in with a coffee in hand at 9:15 and I was told he had someone to see before me - so he was already running late!

I have hypocalcemia like symptoms after a Parathyroid Surgery with normal calcium levels. I told them and they did n number of tests including once I was sent to Westmead for a research. Needle test and electric impulses etc., it only made my nerves further painful. Also, made me wait nearly an year to get appointments as we can get only once in 3 months no matter how important it is.
I was first visiting Con Yiankkias and then I was moved to James Triplet as Dr. Yiankkias was unavailable. I was told I will be called and informed about the treatment before Christmas 2021. I got no call and after follow ups, I got one in March and the only answer I got was what is happening with me falls in the rare spectrum and a medicine to calm my nerves. Instead of identifying what is causing the exact issue after having me visit over an year and doing all the tests and not being responsive is just sad.
I do not recommend.

Been coming here for a while seeing dr. Yiannikas, not until I noticed his student’s attending for learning on this specific day, Permission wasn’t asked from the patients they were simply led into a room full of students which was unprofessional and uncomfortable to be honest, the students instructed patients on what to do and how to sit and previous private progress videos of patients were shown to students, no idea why he has to record his patients progress he probably shares it in university too without patients permission. Disgusting!!!!
