Called this morning agsin and it was suggested, due to the person being still not available, that they would get them to call me back.
I said, actually, I was told that yesterday too.
Natalia then said, that wasn't me!
You are being rude.
I am terminating this call.
Then she hung up.

This review is aimed at ATODs inala.

Also before continuing, I am not personally a patient of the program but my immediate loved ones are.

My parents have attended this clinic since I was a young child and my now husband also attends this clinic.

Atods is meant to be out here to support people with addiction and the goal of the organisation is to be able to rehabilitate the occupants of the program.

From my experience as a support person for my loved ones, there is little to no interest in actual support or rehabilitation.

I know what many of you would think, “it comes down to the addicts willingness to take the steps”
In my experience, the people I love have tried every step 1000 times and continues to try. The only solution that Adots can seem to come up with is either increasing the methodone or changing to a buupshot. I don’t believe that giving people higher doses of addictive medication is going to help them with drug addiction or use. I truely believe that long termuse; and trust me when I say this, my dads been on the program my whole life and I’ve watched him suffer and deteriorate horribly from long term methodone consumption. It’s not enough, you can’t do it long term.

Addicts issues is that they don’t know how to function properly in the ‘normal world’. Could be truama that caused this or genetic factors , either way, slapping them with one drug instead of another is not doing shit all for the community

Some people, those lucky few that the program has actually helped, that’s amazing but sadly people are more likely to live their whole life on this medication, die on this medication then ever get off it and live a normal life.

Something more needs to be done, it’s not enough, watching my loved ones suffer is not okay, the disrespect and ridicule they face is not acceptable. I’m sick of watching my loved ones be treated as second class citizens because they’ve been stuck with a horrible illness.

Seeing a patient every 3 months to give them more drugs isn’t helping.

Had my regular review breastfeeding scan today. Receptionist (whose name escapes me) was efficient and friendly. Milly/Millie, the radiographer, was extremely efficient too. Gave very clear, specific instructions which meant the scans were completed quickly and relatively painlessly. They both deserve commendations for their excellent, professional and friendly service provision.

Thank you!

Child and Youth Services it’s honestly a waste of time. I could been better of on googling milestones for 12 months and stayed home.
1. There no real support or advise on anything “every kids it’s different” I know that 🙄🙄
2. Yes I was late and I know they’re tight on time but there was no one else waiting plus the times I have been early I still have to wait and still being rush by the nurse because someone else was late so it’s like a loose loose situation
3. Everyone is grumpy especially receptionist and child nurses. Why did you even went to uni to be a nurse if you are no a people person whatsoever
4. The fact that my child has a runny nose and cough doesn’t mean he is sick. He is been seen by a doctor who has advised he has nothing but allergies due to high fever. So according to them I could never ever be able to take him there because he is always coughing and always with a runny nose. I mean didn’t you went to uni? You should know this.

Thank you Angela at Breast Screen QLD Inala, for making my first visit an absolute breeze. You came highly recommended from my colleagues and now by myself as well. Extremely professional and extremely gentle and reassuring. Thank you also to the lovely receptionist for making me feel welcome and at ease, a wonderful team. If I could give this team more stars I would xxx 🤩😁 -Zoe

This relates to the Breastscreen Qld service within the centre The lady who does the actual screen is wonderful. A petite lady with blonde bobbed hair and a slight English accent. She praises how well you're doing and it doesn't hurt.
Be wary of the receptionist with the brown hair (caucasian, late 40s/50s). At the very time you need some peace and quiet as you contemplate the procedure she will bombard you with personal questions from any information she can pull off your records. If you try to appease her by answering her questions eg "So, are you building or buying a pre-existing house when you move to your new address" (!), she will just keep asking! It's just a power trip because she then IGNORES you when you leave the office after the procedure. My recommendation is to tell her you just need some peace and quiet if she asks you anything not related to the procedure.
But honestly, the lady who does the procedure is lovely. 10/10.

Totally useless the reception looks straight through you as if you don't exist they don't know how to answer a phonecall and the when they do they make you wait days for a outcome even when you go there in person they say they will call but you need to call them numerous times before they even do anything
HONESTLY GO ELSEWHERE YOU WILL GET SEEN SOONER

Go up
