Had my first MRI yesterday at I-MED Belco. Facilities were top-notch, the receptionist was lovely and the service was quick. The technician, Penelope, was incredible! She explained the process thoroughly and I'm sure there's no one better at performing this procedure (which I'm sure could make some patients uncomfortable given all the noises and the confined space inherent in MRIs). This was a service that, given a cheaper option I'd rather pay a premium to be in Penelope's capable hands. Ten out of ten.

Nice welcome service! Thanks to a receptionist with blonde hair and Jessie(If i remember correctly) who did my breast implants ultrasound with care. I have made a booking from staffs in Tuggeranong branch so both polite.

The team was very efficient, professional and accommodating. I was helped by one of the male receptionists upon entering. He was very helpful when I had issues with my referral for an MRI.

The radiologist was also professional, efficient and knowledgeable. He also ensured I had access to headphones & earplugs to reduce the noise of the machine.

The only negative experience I had was with a rude receptionist (female), who talked to another patient (in front of me) about how annoying it is when patients have issues with their referrals.

[I am pleasantly surprised by the fast and efficient response from the I-Med team following on from my appointment. Jacklynn contacted me the following day to discuss further and express similar concerns over the situation. Although the day had passed, she tried her best to offer goodwill gestures on behalf of I-Med to rectify and make any future interaction with I-Med a more pleasant one. Very satisfied with the customer care team and response time. ]

Extremely disappointing first experience here. I came for my 12 week morphology scan today. It was scheduled for 12:10pm, I arrived by 11:55am. There was a long wait at reception and I got checked in at 12:20pm and was told the Sonographer is running late. I was called in at 12:55pm and within 5 minutes the sonographer (Fiona) informed me that as they were running late, her latest appointment had just arrived and she would stop my appointment mid way to go attend to that. This did not make sense as I arrived within my appointment time and the clinic was running late not myself.. why she would want to see another appointment within my time was just strange and rude! After a few minutes she asked if she could perform an internal scan and I agreed. I have had these previously so I am aware of the procedure and time it takes (everything to conduct this was inside the room). Fiona left the room so i could change and 20 minutes later I am still waiting. I check outside the door and wait another 5 minutes, only to see Fiona having a snack break during my already delayed appointment!! She quickly said she would come shortly. She then disappeared for another 15 minutes. Clearly carried on her snack break or saw another patient as she came back with nothing extra for the scan. She came in and immediately started the internal scan. No apology for taking a snack break, and no explanation as to why she left a patient semi dressed and disappeared for such a long period especially as everything she used for the scan was present in the room!!

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. I was left so uncomfortable and felt vulnerable. From the moment I walked into my appointment there was a very negative atmosphere from her. I spoke to the reception staff after the appointment and they were equally shocked. I have sent a formal complaint regarding this matter. It is needless to say.. avoid this branch and Fiona!

Incredibly disappointed today, booked in for my ultrasound scan for over a month. Arrived today to be advised that we needed a new referral, something that we weren't advised when we booked. After speaking with the receptionist, he advised that IMED aren't allowed to advise patients when they need a referral.
After working in healthcare for over 3 years, I've never met a company that doesn't instruct their patients on what they need to bring in order to be seen. They refused to acknowledge their wrongdoing nor do they have any customer service in helping you find a solution.

I had a CT scan without contrast done here. I wish I could have done it with contrast as I have an unclear result. At that time, the radiologist refused to use contrast due to my nausea. Although I made it clear that the nausea was very mild, the staff didn’t listen. Due to this, I have to get a scan again. Really frustrating.

Go up
