Fruit was nearly three times the price of major stores. Papayas grow like a weeds in the backyard and yield a lot of fruit in a tropical environment and are currently $1.40 in neighbouring countries. There is no reason why we should be paying $15 for one papaya. $10.19 for half of papaya is mind blowing.

My partner and I stopped here on our way to Byron and thought, "This town looks really cute, let's have dinner here instead". After witnessing some weird activity in the area and seeing the overpriced products at the only grocery store in town, the female staff member's unfriendly attitude left a sour taste in our mouths and we unfortunately decided to skip town. Was probably just a case of bad timing but yeah, don't go here.

so expensive, Lindt Chocolate on special for $7 when at the same time you can buy it in Mullumbimby IGA for $4.95

Store has a lot of options and fresh produce but incredibly rude staff. Super unfriendly, unprofessional and unnecessarily harsh. If any other options in town are open, try there instead

My son has autism and severe ADHD and every single time we enter the store, the “manager” called Gabby harasses us and yells at my children. She makes us feel so uncomfortable and my son always walks out of there crying. She does not like kids, especially ones like ours. One of the most unfriendly, rude, intimidating person I have ever met. I go to this store weekly and she is always yelling at her poor younger staff, always in an argument with someone trying to get groceries and makes everyone around her feel uncomfortable. I have witnessed her making her younger staff feel so bad and making many customers upset. I do not know how she still has a job there. There is so many complaints on this google review site about her and many more in person. If you have a child who is sensitive I would keep them far away from this lady and shop!!
