Don't buy anything from the deli, my daughter got food poisoning a while back from the butter chicken there and we bought some frankfurts last week that were slimey 🤮
They do sell scratches so that is cool

These guys do a good job keeping the store clean & organized, the produce is usually pretty good & the management listens to feedback from customers. Could be a bit more competitive but it's not like they have the same buying power that the big two. Would also like to see more locally supplied products to set them apart from the others. Some of the staff are a little socially awkward & could use more training, probably because they are young, but it's great that IGA are actually hiring local kids. Overall, very happy to have them in our area.

The store uses predatory tactics to sell products at higher prices than advertised. Many occasions items on sale or advertised on the brochure is not marked down. Many times I have had to say the advertised price is lower than what they charged and they say oh sorry we will refund the difference. sometimes they charge fruits such as oranges on higher rate than advertised . when you complain they say oh ok we will give you a discount. I tested this buy sending my wife to buy the same product 5 minutes later today and they charged her the same higher price. customers are being cheated without their knowledge and pay higher prices.

Only good for quick purchases. Expensive than most grocers. You pay for the convenience. Most catalog sale items are not discounted automatically at checkout unless you tell them. Then they give it at the price. You pay full price if you don’t check.

Kudos to these guys for hanging in and surviving during covid. With so much competition nearby from the majors, it still manages to provide a pretty good shopping experience, and the service is always efficient. I wouldn't recommend it as my place to buy F&V or meat, though, as the range and quality just isn't good.
