I see Dr. Poly paul, and I have been for a few years now. I'm a patient who has a lot of health issues and mental health issues.
I've been judged so much by health professionals in the past but never by Dr. Poly paul.
I've cried in her room, vented, asked for help, and she had always done what was best for me and / or what I requested.
I've been through a lot of extreme health issues,
Some days no fault of my own, I have to see her asap, and I'm always sqeezed in to see her. No matter how busy she is, she always has time for me. She explains my results to me. If I don't understand and ask her, she will show me and tell me in a way I do understand. Which is important to know for yourself.
I do feel heard, and that I'm a priority and under great care with Dr. Poly paul.
If you are suffering from mental health issues, go see Dr. Poly paul. She is so understanding, and because of her, I got the help.
She has also taken care of all my health issues and corresponds with the clinic if I'm in need of anything. 5 stars ?

The receptionist:
Both ladies who have been there for ages are absolutely wonderful.
Every time I call, it's always such a pleasure.
Such beautiful, kind, well-mannered ladies.
And they always fit me in, make sure I'm taken care of. Which reduces so much stress when you are already sick. They talk to you if they aren't busy in the waiting room. Just lovely

The new nurse:
Was an adjustment as I was used to the old nurse
But I came in with the worst coughing fit, and she was so nice and lovely to me.
Helped me with the nebulizer a few times.

The clinic:
The clinic is clean
But it does need a little TLC.
The ceiling needs fixing, the Cushions we sit on need a clean , lots of stains. I would personally remove them and put chairs along that wall.
But nothing major.
And maybe put the TV on, if people are waiting at least the TV is a distraction.
Like YouTube music playing in the background
Or lifetime movies on YouTube
Reduces ppl of being in patient.
Just an idea ?

Overall fantastic Medical clinic

We were regular patients and even though we moved our house, we were still going there. 3 months ago, i visited there for an eye injury and they gave me over the counter eye drops without checking my eye. The complications was ongoing and later on I changed the medical centre. They checked properly with care, they found a small plastic particle embedded in my eye which they removed it. In my sense, its a severe negligence and it shouldn't be happening again with anyone. We visit there for proper treatment with trust and this trust should be kept with dignity and diligence.

A new facility and beautifully designed . Clean facility with friendly staff . Make sure you book an appointment and arrive early . They have extended hours if needed . There is plenty of parking nearby.

My first appointment with Dr. Poly was rather dissapointing. She was extremely rude and sarcastic. I felt like I was being judged. She even asked me if I was a health professional for asking questions. ( even though she knew my occupation)

This is not how you treat your new patients. Never going back there again.

I have been attending Icon Health for about 3 years now. All the doctors are fantastic and they are very thorough in everything. I am happy with the care i have received so far, i have been to other GP's who will only spend 2 minutes with you literally and seemed not too concerned about your presenting problem. This medical center is fantastic for women 's health.

The only thing that i can recommend for improvement is having all the availabilities of the GP on Health Engine, it makes it easy to book appointments. Plus also informing patients to delay a bit if the Dr's are running a bit behind.

Dr Shampa is our family GP. She is a very good doctor, does thorough analysis. My kids are happy to visit this doctor every time and she is very patient with them. We recommend her to everyone. Due to her popularity, the clinic is very busy and hard to just walk-in, you will need to book in advance.

Ouraida Belhaffef

You make an appointment well in advance, get there and end up waiting for over an hour to have a flash consultation of 2min where the doc simply walks out the office mid-conversation and leave you hanging... or takes on a phone consultation from other patients ... completely unprofessional. I gave them twice a friendly feedback thinking it would help the Doc better manage her schedule ... to no avail. What a waste of time going there
Won't be coming back.
Just send me my family's medical records and delete our files from your records.
PS: Doc Poly I hope you enjoy the time you booked for "yourself" 😉
