Unprofessional service they make up their own rules while waiting to see the doctor and inform you as you are about to see the doctor
Apparently receptionist doesn't know if you have to pay to see the doctor when you call to book an appointment or even when you arrive they make you wait for nothing

I'm surprised by the negative reviews on here. As with every practice I've ever visited the wait times can be long, but no longer than usual. The reception staff are polite. In the past few years I've seen 4 doctors and 3 nurses here and all have been wonderful. I've never been treated impolitely by any of the staff and the Drs have a genuine interest in helping. The nurses are amazing.

I have been going to this medical centre since it first opened. I have never experienced a rude receptionist if anything I have found that the receptionist are helpful. I have since moved 45 mins away and still continue to see Dr John as he is an excellent doctor. I have always been able to get an appoiment in a timely manner and in my opinion have never waited to long in the waiting room.

I followed Dr. Ban to this surgery when it first opened, and I would keep on following her.
I’m never made to feel like another number - I’m a person every time❣️
She has been taking care of me and my ongoing diagnosis for over 8 years and even if she isn’t there, Dr. John and Dr. Melanie are always well informed and very helpful. The wait time is pretty annoying, but I expect it and it’s pretty average for a Doctor!

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The doctors are very professional and knowledgeable in their respected fields of medicine, not to mention how easy going and approachable they are. Appointments are always on time which is very convenient when I have a busy schedule. Definitely recommend Hoxton Park Medical Centre if looking for a long term family doctor.

Horrible receptionist who doesn’t know the basics of handling patients.
She doesn’t care how sick the patient is and puts patients before other patients who have been waiting for more than 1 hour and she says that based on her judgement this patient is more sick than you are.
My son was very sick before and they kept us waiting for 1.5 hrs claiming that it is not an emergency and they will take the appointments first and it turned out that he had very high fever and had to be taken to hospital.
I will never recommend this place to anyone.
Dr Melanie is good but waiting time is never less than 1 hour even if you take appointments.

Like I saw in another review one star is a compliment to this place. I will never go back! Receptionist extremely RUDE. Book the first time for my 1 year old baby with Dr. Salwa Kirkukli and she made us wait for 30 minutes until I said I was leaving for the receptionist to decide take me to the nurse. The nurse has a bunch of things in the bed so I literally lost my patient I decided to leave as it was extremely DISRESPECTFUL.
DOCTORS DON'T CARE ABOUT PATIENCE ANYMORE!!! Not even a baby!
