We’ve seen Dr Anand at HOPE Clinic twice now for my daughter, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. His care is truly amazing, he listens thoroughly, explains everything clearly and makes you feel at ease. The receptionist was also lovely and efficient, making a follow up appointment for a script with no fuss. The whole process has been smooth and strew free. Definitely recommend Dr Anand to anyone looking for a kind and knowledgeable paediatrician!

I initially had high hopes for this paediatric clinic as I was able to secure an appointment within the first week, which was great. However, the process after that was extremely disappointing. After providing my email for further information, I received an email advising I needed to pay a deposit and that the appointment fee was $650 — a fee far higher than any paediatric consultation I’ve ever encountered.

I attempted to cancel the appointment by calling twice, with no answer. I also emailed twice and received automated responses saying they were still waiting on my deposit, completely ignoring my request to cancel. It wasn’t until my third attempt via email that they finally acknowledged the cancellation.

What concerned me most was that after I followed up with my child’s GP, I was told this clinic had contacted the GP to say they couldn’t assist with my child’s needs and recommended seeking another paediatrician — yet they were still willing to book an appointment and request payment upfront without mentioning this.

Communication from the clinic was poor, and responsiveness was almost non-existent. If you need to follow up, expect to be ignored. I’m relieved I cancelled and took my child elsewhere. Unfortunately, my experience was unprofessional and frustrating.

Dr Anand Deshmukh was my children's paediatrician for 3 years, he an exceptional paediatrician, he works very hard to provide the best care for his patients. Unfortunately Hope clinics' 'reception team' are incompetent and unprofessional and made the already difficult experience of obtaining much needed paediatric care for my kids really awful.

I was very impressed with my visit to Hope Peadiactric Clinic today, Dr Anand is an amazing peadiatrician. He really listened to my son and made him feel heard. Our appointment was not rushed, he took his time and clearly explained his condition and treatment options. The staff were friendly and communication by email has been prompt which they state is their preferred communication method. I am extremely satisfied with the care we received and would highly recommend Dr Anand to anyone seeking compassionate care.

Dr Anand has been our paediatrician for the past year and as a parent, finding a doctor who actually cares about your child's health and well-being is invaluable, and Dr. Anand has far exceeded our expectations. Dr. Anand made us feel at ease and confident from our first visit. His kind demeanour and compassionate attitude quickly put my youngster at ease, which was not an easy task! He took the time to clearly explain each diagnostic and treatment plan, ensuring that we completely understood every step. I highly recommend Dr Anand to any parent looking for a compassionate and skilled paediatrician .

We waited 1 year to get a diagnosis for our son. We paid a lot of money for our first appointment and got our diagnosis. When the medication didn’t work we tried to get in touch with the office but got no reply to our phone calls or emails. We even paid up front for our follow up appointment and we have not heard a thing back from them. They said they would call us back but never did. I’m reporting this practice to the authorities for their negligence and appalling treatment of patients. It’s absolutely disgusting and we are angry that these so called professionals are allowed to practice. They are just money hungry thieves praying on sick children. I do not recommend their services ever!

WORST SERVICE. They are happy to take your money initially but will not send you any more information around your child apart from a prescription with no drug information handed to you about what they are being prescribed. Happy to make you a follow up booking but ignore any emails asking for more information, reports etc. Drove four hours to see him. Spent over 30 mins with him reading the reports in the room with us. Sent out with a prescription and told if we don’t follow direction my kid will most likely end up as an addict later in life (he’s 5) countless emails to follow up tried calling no one answered and your told not to leave a message. Formal complaint now lodged against this clinic, do not recommend this service at all.

My daughter and I had a very positive experience yesterday with Dr Anand. He is a very kind, compassionate and patient Doctor. He engaged with my daughter straight away and was really thorough with his information as he was assessing her. Very happy to have a brilliant Dr on our side for our daughters treatment.
