We recently stayed at the Hi-Way Motor Inn during a road trip and found it to be a pleasant and affordable choice for a quick stopover. While the property is older and the rooms are small and cozy, they were clean, quiet, and equipped with everything we needed, including hot showers and ice-cold air conditioning.

The staff were incredibly helpful, especially Kuma, who went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable.
The property could benefit from some renovations, but it doesn't market itself as a 5-star experience, and I felt their description online was accurate. It’s a no-frills, budget-friendly option that served its purpose perfectly for our one-night stay.

If you’re looking for a convenient and affordable pit stop, the Hi-Way Motor Inn is worth considering!

My husband and I stayed in Yass for the night on our way home.
I booked this motel online. We had not stayed at this motel before.
The room was very adequate for the price paid. The bedding was clean snd fresh.
I am a fussy person and would have liked it a little cleaner in the "not so noticeable" areas, but on the whole, I felt comfortable there.
I liked it that the owners/managers are on site. So many places today are run remotely.

A bit of a tired old motel but good value for the money given the location. Bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the quietness. Staff were very amenable and provided a perfect location to park our car and trailer. If visiting Yass we would stay here again.

I did book last minute and was offered 3 different rooms over 3 days, which I accepted! After the first night we repacked the car to get ready for the next room. Only to be told they had been a cancellation and we could stay in the same room but the manager forgot to tell us! We were going out early so left the car packed. On our return, the room hadnt been made up, serviced or cleaned! The next day it was "serviced". And by that I mean the floor wasnt vacuumed, the dirty cups were half filled with water and left on the bathroom basin and the beds looked like a 5 year old had made them! We have paid less for much better!

I did not enjoy my stay and I won't stay there again but I rate it three stars because it wasn't terrible and it's budget accommodation where you get what you pay for. For a brief overnight stay, it sufficed but it was not enjoyable.

The rooms are very old and very small. The bed was just ok comfort wise. The whole motel looks old and run down. The swimming pool was unusable (in November). This is poor form given the motel advertises the fact it has a pool.

It was the cheapest motel in Yass and if you want to pay the lowest rate in Yass, this is the motel for you. Just know you pay the difference though through poorer quality accommodation. It's a case of horses for courses.

The management were reasonably polite and courteous when I checked in. No complaints there.

Stayed in Queen room. Everything there nice and clean and quiet. Parking right in front, all very convenient and the staff was friendly and nice. Easy access to Canberra and/or Hume Hyw. Will book again.

Room was clean and tidy, beds were good. Bathroom was clean, shower was good. It was a little dated, but everything was in working order and clean. They were accommodating for a late check in (organised beforehand) and friendly. I would stay here again.
