This review is not a direct reflection to the branch in Darwin but….. I am travelling to Darwin this Friday (04/10) where my twin grand daughters are joining us next week therefore needing 2 x car booster seats. I went to book on the website, but the minimum time was 7 days which I didn’t want, so I decided to contact the company to see if I could hire for 4 days only. I called the toll free number where I was advised that no one was in attendance and to send a ‘Quick Enquiry’ form through. This was completed and 4 days later I am still waiting for a response from both the phone call and email. Four days later I called again, but same response. I have now decided to hire through another company who was flexible with the hire days and followed up with an email just after I booked it online. I assume Hire for Baby is a franchise operation and if I were you I would be giving your central office a pretty big serve and advise them about the very poor customer service and follow up enquires.

Dean was fantastic, great at responding to phone and emails. Car seat was absolutely perfect, clean and in new condition. Fitted correctly. Once done, we had a text from Dean saying it had been fitted. Highly, recommend! Very reasonably priced! Will use everytime we come to Darwin!

Simply the best hire service we've used! Hired a carseat for our week in Darwin. Dean was great! Friendly and was super helpful. He delivered and fitted the carseat and picked it up a week later! We also hired a pram from Hire for Baby in the middle of the week and that was again a super easy process and we were very, very happy with the pram. Prices were also super affordable. Highly recommend Hire for Baby! Don't bother lugging all your kiddy stuff on the plane, just hire it!!

I cannot recommend Dean enough! My wife and I arrived from Sydney with a poorly installed baby seat by the car hire company. After 90 mins trying to fix it ourselves with all of us on the verge of tears of frustration we gave Dean a call. Within 2 mins he diagnosed the problem, showed us how to fix it and gave my wife and I the reassurance our little bundle of joy was safe and secure.

Honestly can't thank him enough, saved our day!

Awesome help from Dean when we arrived in Darwin and found we hadn't hired a booster seat with our car. To be fair we have done a bunch or car hires lately and this one slipped through. Anyway he was super responsive at the airport, got us something so we could get to our hotel and then came later and swapped the seat for a better fit. Very reasonable hire rates too, better than the car hire company! Top marks, and highly recommended!

Amazing service!! After a seat belt on a car seat came loose Dean, not only tightened the strap but also replaced a part that was difficult to use. He also kindly offered to guide us through the process over the phone. Highly recommend his service!!

Hire was very affordable. Service was excellent. Dean went so far as to contact me to arrange to mail me the baby stuff I'd left in the pram in our rush back to the airport. Highly recommended.
