A total scam. These hospital companies charging huge amounts for mostly free TV (or even 100% Free TV, in the case of Coffs Harbour Health Campus) are unbelievable.

First week - the machine froze after taking the money from my account, required a call to customer service to reset. Second week - the machine adjacent Ward 8D at Royal North Shore Hospital was dysfunctional, so instead I purchased online and my card was charged. Now I have found it never loaded the TV, and again required a call to customer service.

There are shitty companies everywhere, but having to deal with one while also managing a family member being in hospital is really, really shitty.

My father has been in Canterbury Hospital for 32 days. When he moved to a ward from ICU the tv was known to be broken. I rang Hills every day but still after 6 days and 2 rooms, no one has turned up to fix the tv. I have rung twice to speak to management and had them pass on details via email with no response. My 82 yo dad is left in a private room on his own with no tv for the last 6 days and counting. Apparently this is rife through Canterbury Hospital.

Deal with hills tv at your own risk, we recently purchased a package online and even though the money had been taken from our account, the tv still didn’t activate. The customer service operator told us that it hasn’t registered on their end and nothing can be done. apart from ripping off sick people for free to air tv, they also rip off sick people and don’t even provide the service.

Hills TV service is hopeless, my mother was a private patient in Wollongong Hospital, had access to her TV in hospital. But when transferred to Shellharbour Rehab hospital her TV was cut off, as this is now Easter the hospital cannot confirm she is a private patient. So we asked to speak to their supervisor only to be told they do not work over Easter. The Hills TV staff have no idea what it means for an elderly patient to be in hospital without access to a TV.
I will partitioning my health fund to find another TV service as Hills TV service is appalling.

Total scam. I didn't book a TV with this company because I would prefer to stream on my lap top. This review is on the sheer audacity and tomfoolery I have witnessed being perpetrated against my ward mate.
The woman in the bed across from me has been gravely ill in a major Sydney hospital, far away from her home in Regional NSW and out of reach from friends and support. She has dealt with all of this with a grace, humour and dignity we could all learn from.
The tiny bit of respite she could have possibly accessed is the simple pleasure watching the telly.
Every day I hear her calling the company and going through the same tedious trouble shooting steps then to be told a technician will come the next day.
The technician never comes. It has become an endless loop of disappointment.
Today, my ever optimistic ward mate decided it was time to end things. She called to cancel, was taken through the usual pantomime to be told the is no need to cancel since because she is private patient, her TV service is "free".
Shameless snake oil sales people. She knows, the nurse she put onto the service rep that they insisted upon knows, those of us in the beds nearby know, the kids in the Cafe down the street know- NOTHING IS EVER FREE.
The exorbitant fees she pays into her health fund pays for it.
This company is just fleecing off the ill and vulnerable.
Shame on them.
A disgusting and despicable business model.

Ridiculously bad service, multiple phone calls tv still doesn't work. Asked for a refund that I'm yet to receive. This company cares little about patients in hospital. This is what happens when I private company works within the public sector.

His TV has been sound only since he was admitted and for the past 10 days we have been trying to get this rectified. According to hospital staff the 2 patients before him I that room had the same

Most disgusting company to trade in the State. Takes peoples money and dosent provide
the service promised. Won't refund money and won't return calls. How dare you rip off the sick and elderly. Will make further complaints to government authorities about my case and multiple others.. Take an I pad or a laptop to the patients instead of these people. The state of their equipment is a disgrace coming from the nursing staff
