Left hospital worse than I went in. Had staff go through my belongings while I was out of the room and was then assaulted by a staff member in the same admission. Reported this to management but they elected to not report it further presumably to protect there reputation.

Horrible place where you are treated as a diagnosis rather than a human being.

26/03/2024 we took our disable son to Hillcrest to have a Gastroscopy which was done, everything went great. When he came back from having the gastroscopy we noticed a bruise on his thumb, it was also swollen and had obviously been jammed in the bed rail when in theatre, we contacted the nurse and showed her, she than got the anaesthetist who said it was like that when he went into theatre, which was totally incorrect, it happened after he left the room he was in! We told the staff we were concerned it could be broken so they took him for a Xray that showed it was not broken. Another more senior woman came and seen us and said there will be an investigation into this and we will be contacted. As of 20/10/2024 we have still not received any feedback re: this incident. And to make matters worse we were charged for the Xray

Best care Ive had in a long time. In for shoulder surgery kept for one night and the staff was on point with everything. Pain management was exceptional as was the cleanliness and willingness to ensure patient comfort was maintained. The staff was courteous and didn't mind having a chat and sharing stories. The Hillcrest hospital has set a standard but the admin, nursing staff and medical teams have set their own standard far above what I expected. Thank you to all the members at Hillcrest for a wonderful stay and for your dedication and caring.

Majority of the staff were amazing, friendly, attentive, professional. Surgery was a dream & over all the different departments I moved through, I have to say was one of the best hospital experience I've ever had.

I've just hard knee replacement surgery. I cannot fault the fantastic nursing staff, caterers and cleaners. They all did a wonderful job and made my stay a good experience. Thankyou.

I just had breast implant removal at the hospital. Was such a amazing experience from start to finish. From office ladies, nurses, anethasist, surgeon I cannot give enough credit to. I would highly reccomend the Hillcrest to anyone for surgery. Thankyou so much for all your support and kindness 🙏🤍

A little disappointed that no cooked breakfast was available. I have been to Albury/ Wodonga Private Hospital owned by Ramsay and had a cooked breakfast same at Welsey Hospital in Brisbane. The beds and pillows are uncomfortable. The buzzers are loud as well as the infusion pumps. The layout of the bathrooms are poor. No where to put your clothes after a shower. I had to pay $500 Hospital excess and do not find I get value for the money paid. At Hillcrest I found that they want to discharge the client home early after two days. My impression it comes down to the almighty $$$$.This CEO”s work life balance is dependent on the bottom line to please shareholders.
