Very disappointing consult with Dr Rowe, I phoned the surgery asking for the first available appointment. On presenting, asked her an additional question, which would have just required her looking for a date and was told very bluntly if I wanted to discuss more than one item I needed to book another appointment I only had a short consult booked. I was already feeling very flat and this reprimand was most upsetting. I explained I was not aware of the booking requirement I phoned your receptionist to make the appointment. I then stood up and left and to this day, no check in and no apology, appalling behaviour. If you are not happy with your fee structure change it and further changes to your reception staff booking procedure will ensure clients are not slapped over the wrist for taking up to much of your time and not paying enough.

My whole family has been going to this practice for many years. While it is difficult to get into see Dr Rowe, the others GPs are kind and professional, so I am happy to see any one of them. I would recommend this practice especially because they are one of the few practices that still bulk bill! The reception staff are also kind and helpful.

Unfortunately, I have experienced very upsetting situations with Dr Rowe, but because not many doctors bulkbill anymore, I made the mistake of going back. With my most recent visit, she barely looked at me, was on her computer for the majority of my appointment and displayed a very Ageist attitude, completely dismissing my concerns about a couple of medical conditions and did nothing to alleviate my anxiety.
I left feeling very irrelevant. The Practice isn’t the same as it once was when Dr Dinh ran it.

Dr Rowe is a very thorough doctor who is prepared to listen to your symptoms and treats her patients in a very caring fashion. The only downside is the often long wait past the appointment time otherwise this is a highly recommended medical practice.
