I had the most awesome experience with Alicia in the Clinic. Her proactive and friendly conversation around my age-expected health was so refreshing and direct. I was immediately put at ease. It's so overwhelming if you hear and read too much - it's conflicting and inaccurate and Alicia just gave it to me straight. I'm so grateful we have such caring and experienced health professionals to guide our way. Thank you Alicia, you made what was potentially difficult, super easy.

the receptionist is so rude and unprofessional. I went there this Monday for my son, and they said that we are not in the system!! She even said that i doesn’t make sense if the doctor call me, if you are new reception at least you can talk nicely!
This is the worst experience

I became a patient of the Bowral Street practice following my being Dr Penny Knowlden's patient, originally in Merrigang Street, and subsequently at the defunct Mews practice in Bundaroo Street.
During Dr Knowlden's absence, through illness, I consulted Dr Mark Wilson.
Following the amalgamation of the two practices, years ago now, Bowral Street became my source of general practice consultation.
I have seen several doctors over the years there (occasioned by unavailability, other commitments, etc.), and, naturally, one's sympatico with individual doctors varies , as it does with any two individuals, but the quality of medical advice and care I have received has been consistently excellent.
Over the last three years, my GP has been Dr Shahrul Abd Wahab, an extremely capable and personable young professional.
His sensitivity to the needs and and vulnerabilities of a man now an octogenarian is enormously reassuring; and his patience and gentle demeanour are qualities I value greatly.
I am profoundly satisfied with, and sustained by, Bowral Street.

Had a 5 minute appointment here, they charged me full price despite my concession. I never received a rebate and on my Medicare they filed it as bulk bill when I was $85 out of pocket. Have called 3 times and have been met with extremely unhelpful responses.

Had an absolutely awful experience with one of the doctors at this practice.
I had an appointment to see doctor Harshinnie Jayamana about a suspected hyper extension injury to my knee. Prior to the appointment I was able to walk and move around reasonable well, with slight pain and a limp. When doctor Jayamana was examining my leg she twisted my ankle to the right and then the left which caused me great agony and to cry out in pain. She suspected an ACL tear and referred me for an MRI. I left the doctors in much more pain and with less movement in my joint. By the afternoon I was in chronic pain could no longer walk and my joint was frozen at a right angle.
Four days after that appointment and my condition had worsened dramatically, I was in constant pain, muscle spasms, unable to move, my mental health deteriorated and I am absolutely traumatised from the incident.
There was no need to manipulate my body, I would have been able to tell the doctor that twisting is very painful without having been touched which would have saved me intense pain, swelling and complete loss of all mobility.
Have previously had very good experiences at this medical practice, very disappointed that the quality of their doctors seems to have gone downhill. No one should go to the doctors and leave more injured than when they arrived!!

Dr Kilmeny Brodrick is one of the worst doctors I have ever encountered. She is immature and inappropriate in her manner, does not examine her patients physically, does not follow up on tests, does not listen to the patient, diagnoses and prescribes incorrectly and then does not follow up with the patient on side-effects.. She does not read medical records or patient histories and can not remember even the most basic details about repeat patients. She is completely lacking in empathy and makes unprofessional and inappropriate comments e.g. saying "sad face" whilst pulling a face, after listening to your symptoms. It is hard to believe that she is actually qualified to practice. She certainly shouldn't be practicing unsupervised.
