I am extremely disappointed with the poor service, miscommunication, and unprofessional behavior at Helensvale Plaza Medical Centre and its pathology department. My mother, who is not an English speaker, was given incorrect information about her pathology test. The receptionist initially stated that she did not have to pay, only to collect the results. However, when she returned the next day, the staff rudely told her she had to pay and then called me (as I was not with her) to tell her to contact her travel insurance.

When I asked for the correct contact details to arrange payment, the receptionist dismissively told me to "Google it." After following their instructions and contacting the insurance company, they then refused to proceed with the test—even when my mother offered to pay herself. If they had clearly communicated their policy from the beginning, none of this would have happened.

The way my mother was treated—especially as a non-English speaker—was completely unacceptable. The lack of professionalism and empathy shown by the staff made an already stressful situation even worse. Clear communication and patient care should be a priority in any medical facility, but unfortunately, that was not the case here.

I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who values respectful and efficient service.

We are a new patient in this clinic and loved the feeling of staff being welcoming, polite and very nice to patient. Nurse Marilyn were great, super nice, gentle and had lots of patience for my kids immunisation. Hope to see her again next time. Thank you nurse so much.

Dr Priscilla Lynn was super helpful when I fractured my ankle and made sure I was looked after. Could have had such a speedy recovery without her.

I am with Doctor Ouda since 8 months. The best doctor I ever met in my life. I had on going problems that no doctor before new what was my problem. He checked my health from all aspects and advised me on surgery. I am now recovering and already feel much better after I met him.

Have been going to this medical clinic for about 3 years. The reception staff are amazing, the doctors are great, especially Dr Ouda. Highly recommend this medical practice.

reception is always nice and good and so are most of the doctors but this dr would not listen to us and give us the referral we needed that had been confirmed by my doctors. Save your money and go somewhere that doesnt have doctors as idiotic as her.

I had to see a doctor asap as my usual doctor doesn’t work Fridays, so I booked on line at this surgery, so easy to do. Dr Mohamed Ouda who I saw was so professional and very caring. He was patient and quickly informed what need to be done in relation to my needs. I saw the surgery nurse who was also very professional and caring. The receptionist was friendly and also professional. Highly recommend this surgery. Thank you for all you did for me.

One male doctor was not helpful and rude. He told me not to waste his time even though he wasted my time waiting for my turn. I'm not going to see this doctor forever.
