I have been seeing Dr Rotimi for years and he has looked after me very well for a range of medical conditions, including some complex ones. He is very calm, knowledgeable, caring, kind, understanding, a great listener and has been spot on with his advice. I love the mask wearing policy, it protects patients and staff there, and is testament to how clean and hygienic this practice is - highly recommend! Margery is also an absolute gem.

I’ve been to a lot of different practitioners and specialists over the years for various health concerns and there are very few that can compare to the team here. The receptionists are wonderful too and always very helpful.

Disappointed...

I don't know how to express my disappointment with my recent appointment with Dr. Bright Odubenu. Despite waiting an additional 15 minutes, I felt rushed and neglected during the consultation.

I specifically mentioned experiencing a sharp pain in my head, behind my left ear, which has been disrupting my sleep. However, Dr. Odubenu did not examine my ears or assess the issue. I struggled to hear his comments and felt that he showed a lack of concern for my well-being.

As a regular patient of Dr. Romiti, I was disappointed with the contrast in care and empathy. Due to an urgent need, I mistakenly booked an appointment with Dr. Odubenu, but unfortunately, it was a wasted visit. I will need to seek a second opinion from another doctor to address my concerns.

I hope you will take my feedback seriously and address the issues with Dr. Odubenu's patient care.

So since my update, HealthFount had responded to me below. It really irks me that google gives the last word to the business, because the tone of HealthFount response suggests they're sensible, ordered and gives great service. My personal opinion is that they do not. Further, healthfount's response masks the terrible treatment I experienced by the receptionist. I stand by my recommendation - I advise you to find ANY OTHER PRACTICE.

Since leaving this comment, I have received a voice mail from the receptionist, saying words to the effect of 'while I didn't give you a complaint form in the office, there is one online'.

However, there was no apology for the long wait time. I called back to explain that while I was in the office, I was on their website, and unable to find a complaint form (there is merely an 'Enquiry Now' text box). I notified them they were required to have the complaint form to the ACT Human Rights Commission and asked not to be contacted again

It seems this practice's heyday was around 2 years ago.

I am incredibly outraged by this practice. For the third time, I've had to wait for Dr Odenbu. No apology either, no bedside manner, no acknowledgement of the imposition to their clients.

While normally the service (despite the waiting) is fine, the final straw was from the receptionist refusing to give me some sort of complaints form. I don't accept that the medical practice doesn't have a complaints form, nor do I accept that a medical entity does not receive complaints.

Further, I noticed that there was a complete absence of the statutorily required complaints form to the ACT Human Rights Commission. This form is required to be displayed prominently.

However, I do notice there is a sign stating that non-attendance and late comers will be charged a fee. How hypocritical.

I do not recommend this practice at all, Dr. Rotimi sounds like he hates to see patients, gives one word answers and you can barely hear/understand what he is saying when he eventually talks to you. Even though they bulk bill, id rather pay and visit another practice. I will not take my family here.

Dr Rotimi Akerele is not the doctor you want. He doesn't listen properly, he doesn't sound like he cares, he gives closed answers and he either lies or misunderstands basic communication to the point he gives incorrect and conflicting information. He also just seems to lack knowledge in some areas as I've talked to other doctors previously that were more informed on the same topics.

Overall the clinic could stand to drop their mask policy too. I didn't have a problem with these things during the pandemic period but at this point it's inconvenient and just kind of bizarre as other surgeries and hospitals do not do this.

Terrible communication have had the owner of my pharmacy ring the clinic for my scripts to be sorted out because they are slow, rude and do not care. Dr Bright is very rude. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.
