My sister is a brand new, PROUD, single mum, every single time she has been to this practice in the last 4 months, the doctors have treated her like dirt under their shoe. This is unacceptable and disgusting behaviour from people who are supposed to be professional, caring and empathetic health professionals. She took her screaming baby in to get help as she was worried what he was experiencing was not croup, only for the doctor to not even look at him or assess him and said “it’s croup okay bye”. The unethical treatment she is receiving is unethical and will put the doctor’s registrations at risk with the way they are treating patients. All these visits have been documented by the way.

I can’t believe this clinic would receive a 4 star rating.
It does not deserve a rating at all. Rude doctors, extremely rude receptionists. My parents came to this clinic for years and were never treated that well. Towards the end, doctors would not listen to requests for help in regards to my mums pain management. Receptionists yell at you over the phone. Dr Kumudu even said to my parents that they waste her time, that a regular patient had to wait because of my mum, even though we waited for over an hour that day. Don’t even bother trying to report an incident with the practice manager. He is just useless and hides behind the reception staff and drives himself home to Melbourne because he’s too weak to handle a complex complaint.
Oh and if you think it couldn’t get any worse at healthworks kangaroo flat, wait for it, it does. The current chemist in the building talks to your parents like they are children, demeaning them and growling at them because they’re so sick and at the clinic when she should’ve been home waiting to accept her Webster pack at the door. Then she has the maturity to report she’s been called names by my mother and her neighbor. My mum was 80 and would never speak in that way and nor would her neighbour.
Be very careful about going to this practice. I strongly encourage you to go anywhere else but here… very unprofessional, no empathy and below average service. Having said that, every other healthworks I have encountered is fine. Healthworks kangaroo flat is a nightmare. Really think twice about going here. One thing I’ll say is the nurses on duty are very kind and compassionate and one or two receptionists, but that’s it..

Good Doctor very thorough doesn't rush, so be prepared to wait, worth the wait. Reception staff are the friendliest I have come across in any business, never too busy to help

I have been seeing my local gp at kangaroo Flat healthworks for years for my chronic health problems. Only to be told today that it's $150 for medical certificate. Disgusting. Gp said its was the director of the clinic decision to charge this for a bit of paper. Shame on you.

Receptionist on front desk leaves much to be desired, doctors here are OK.. Being a GP nurse myself, I would be appauled if a receptionist was this rude on the phone to patients, with basic requests (like transfering pathology to a new Doctor). Seems I'm not the only one with this complaint from reading reviews.
