Between $100 and $600 for an appointment? And when told them i couldn’t afford that, I was asked “you can’t even afford $160 out of pocket expense” Not sure if they understand what a pension is and how little money we get to survive.

Dr G is very professional and highly educated. He's excellent and relational with people of all ages. Would recommend him as your family GP.
Millie on reception is very helpful and on the ball. The nurse Bianca is extremely professional and very thorough in her preparation and presentation.

Can't book online, the hold music times out after 10 minutes then hangs up.
When you do finally get an appointment they're very dismissive and try to rush you out, really frustrating after trying to get an appointment for weeks 😤

Also had a 12pm appointment (only one available for weeks) they called at 5:30 and told me not to book before 4pm going forward

Dr Matthew's is horrible and a waste of money. She doesn't listen to my needs. I feel sorry for the other poor Doctor G as Matthew's is given Doctor G . at this clinic a bad name at kennington . I however I think Dr.G is polite and well spoken and dressed nicely and he actually cares about people and he dose listen to my needs. Also Doctor G gives my children lollies and talks with them to make the appointment easier on me . I give Doctor G.5 stars .but Dr Matthew's 1 star !

I have been going here ever since I moved to Bendigo after my parents died. I’m 19 now and I’ve been seeing Dr. Matthews.

My first appointment was early 2020, I went in and she prescribed me with anti depressants and anti psychotics. She didn’t really listen to me and had minimal background info, but after 5 minutes for an $80 appointment I was sent away with 2 new medications.

Fast forward to this year, I went in about a possible mental health diagnosis, I had written down all my symptoms and examples, she shut me down instantly and said “No, you have autism and I diagnosed you a year ago.”

Never, not ONCE did she tell me I was on the spectrum. Why did it take a year and multiple prescription appointments for her to tell me that? So I was sent away half hearted with a new diagnosis.

I needed the report with all my diagnosis’s and info to give to Centrelink, she gave me an outdated YEAR old one. I went back and asked for a new one, was told to wait 4-6 weeks. At the 4 week mark the reception sent me an email with the “new” report. I received it, looked at it, and it was the exact same report as the first one.

So, I waited the full 6 weeks plus more and went in again. They gave me a report and said, “It was done up a week ago, here you go.”

1. They didn’t contact me about it,
2. IT WAS THE SAME DAMN REPORT AS THE FIRST TWO.

I have paid $400 to go there. And the worst part is….

The reports all say “Not autistic, needs assessment done”

So that just completely wipes out the “You’re autistic and I won’t listen to your symptoms because I assessed you a year ago”

Complete waste of money and time, the reception were rude and haven’t tried to help. They seem frustrated that i keep going in every 2 weeks for the report.

I need the report desperately but don’t think I’m getting it.

Do not waste your energy going here, it’s completely unprofessional and a waste of money and time.

Dr.Matthews is an absolute tosspot! Me and my 2 sisters have seen her and apparently we are all autistic, all have bipolar anxiety and depression as well as a few things. Every time I've seen her she's been late or wasn't there. I have said to her that my head is bad and was even self harming, she put me on Lexapro and Risperidone and said bye. Every time I mention it she just ups it?! Just up and up and up. This is absolutely disgusting as she also put me on epilim for bipolar and I was on 200mg then she upped me to 500mh, and I asked her should I slowly go up and she said no just have the full 500mg that night. I ended up overdosing that night...

Very long waiting times when trying to make an appointment over the phone. The psychiatrist isn't on healthengine so I have to call and wait half an hour or more. Very good practice though. Experienced practitioner's
