I’ve been going to this practice for years. Dr.Bhaskar is the most amazing GP i have ever been to. However after my recent appointment i was speaking to the practice manager at the practice (Kristie). She was rude, unhelpful and very unprofessional. I was overcharged for a 10 minute appointment and when trying to understand why i was being charged the wrong amount she belittled and undermined everything i was saying. She wouldn’t concede that she had made a mistake, instead told me i was not only a child but the one in the wrong. The new management at the practice exercises a callus disregard for customer experience, professionalism and respect. very disappointing to see what was a good practice with excellent heath professionals tarnished by a horrible excuse of a practice manager.

I have been a patient of Dr Maggie Lane prior to Dr Maggie coming to kotara many many years ago.
Dr Maggie is the kindest, compassionate, understanding and above all the most loyal Doctor ive had throughout so many years of my life dealing with the Good’ Bad’ Ugly ‘ Happy’ Sad’ or Sick with treatment available with sound advice.
. Dr Maggie has always greeted me with a smile’ kind words each and every time.

Dr Bhaskar is the most amazing Doctor my family and I have ever been to. He goes above and beyond for us and always treats us with respect. The medical centre in general is also fantastic and the staff are lovely 🙂

Dr Susan Smart WAS my doctor, but after a long hiatus with good health, it turns out im now no longer a client of theirs. Further to this, as someone who works amongst people with disabilities and the elderly, they will not give me my vaccination, and have told me that I need to drive to Raymond Terrace a 33 minute drive compared to a 3 minute drive.
This practice is not community centric.

Despite the answer below - I did not raise my voice with anyone, I did however laugh at the receptionist when they told me I was no longer a client, despite using the practice for approx 4-5 years
What I am absolutely disgusted with - Susan Smart was my GP, I am no longer considered a client because I've been in good health.
Stuffed if I do, Stuffed if I don't.

Dr Bhaskar is borderline incompetent. He rushes everything so much he misses basic things. He prescribed medication that was not suitable at all, and didn't noticed until i pointed it out. While the staff are generally awesome, it doesn't make up for a bad GP.

My partner and I went to this clinic for the first time on saturday morning for our travel vaccs. The nurse was so so lovely and really attentive. Just wanted to give her a massive thumbs up for being so lovely. Wish I knew her name - she did introduce herself, but I can't pronounce it. =)

I can not speak more highly of all the staff at healthsure Kotara! The care provided to our family is not only professional but personal. You are made to feel like a human not just a number, unlike many other doctor surgeries.
