Healing Tree Accupuncture have been thorough, knowledgable and inclusive right from the initial consultation with Dahbin. Youngmee and Dahbin (Mother/Daughter team) both work in consultation with you, the patient and provide a holistic approach to Eastern Medicine. I went to Healing Tree to address medical issues regarding poor organ function, digestive and food related issues and focus on diet, along with other personal health issues. Not only do I have more energy, the correction to my organ function has improved significantly and upon a recent blood check I have found the particular organ to be functioning back at normal levels for my age and gender. I'm back to enjoying life more freely especially regarding energy levels and digestion. I have regained a committment to my health by following the steps and advice that is given whenever I visit and ensure that I follow regimine where required, as it's one that isn't restrictive and very manageable. I began seeing Youngmee and Dahbin, the powerhouse mother-daughter duo, a few months ago with the goal of reducing scar tissue around my cesarean scar through acupuncture. I’m now also receiving treatment for long-term back pain. Initially, I was skeptical about Eastern medicine, having only been treated with Western medicine in the past, but my perspective has completely changed.

At my first appointment, Dahbin was extremely thorough, reviewing my medical history and taking notes on my expectations. She then created a treatment plan tailored to my specific goals.

As part of my treatment, I’m using liquid herbs to help reduce inflammation in my back. Initially, I doubted their claim that the herbs were tasteless— but they were right! They taste like water, and I do believe they’re helping.

They are very thoughtful in their approach, often sharing tips like how to breathe deeply to support the healing process. Today, knowing I’ve been on prescription anti-inflammatories for a while, Dahbin sent me home with instructions for a liver cleanse to minimize the long-term effects of the medication.

In just five weeks of treatment, my scar tissue has reduced significantly. I no longer experience sharp pains around the scar, and I can move and do activities without tightness. I’ve even started to regain sensation in the area.

I also have to mention Yoonee, the friendly face who greets me at every appointment. He’s always polite and welcoming, and I look forward to hearing him ask if I had “a relaxing time” after each visit. He’s also great at explaining how to take the herbs for the best results.

Overall, this is a fantastic family-run business. Youngmee and Dahbin are both so so lovely, and clearly very knowledgeable. I drive 30 minutes for my treatments, and it’s absolutely worth it. If you're on the fence about Chinese medicine, know that I was in your shoes just a few months ago— and I’m so glad I decided to give it a try.
