Tell me why it is headspace counsellors ask the teenager on a scale of 1-10 how much they want to be at the counselling session?
Obviously most teenager wouldn't chose to be there by themselves no Obviously a doctor & parent has gone through the proceedings to get the teenager into Headspace because the teenage is having some struggles & needs help & have waited a while for the appointment & have gone through an intake interview.Then in the first session that question is asked to the teenager do you want to be here ,when the reply is no ,oh so you don't give consent so we can no longer continue.
Are you kidding me what type of counselling is this
Does not the parent/care giver know that the teenager has problems & needs help ,with one question the counselling is ended.
It seems to me Headspace has no idea of how to counsell teenagers and don't really care
One star for them
Government funded ,lazy unprofessional organisation 😡

Just got off the phone with locky unfortunately, could not use this service with my young son but he gave me great help and amazing services to point me in the right direction and a lot of advice A very kind human

I first started at headspace when I was a teen my last session was at 23.
Headspace has changed my life.
I struggled with substance abuse and adhd,
I am beyond grateful for the treatment I received at headspace and the beautiful people I met.
