The receptionists, Fiss or Figs, will waste your time. I called them and informed them I was running 10 minutes late. When I arrived, the lift was not accessible from the ground floor, so I walked up the other side to reach their shop. It was just Tuesday; the store did not seem busy at all. Then, they told me I was 15 minutes late and that there were no more available for me today. I had to cancel and book another appointment. The staff were not helpful at all and seemed unfriendly.

I called up the number today at your Burwood center for an appointment for my son. However the operator was extremely rude towards me and kept on saying in harsh words that she doesnt have any until school holidays . Upon asking for the available dates she rudely points out that i can go to paramatta , i asked where in parramatta and she raised her voice .

Hi, on Monday 4th March, around 1 pm I visited HCF Burwood branch for the first time ever. I was looking for a new private health insurance. The girl at the reception was courteous and polite ( sorry I didn't catch her name ).
I didn't wait long when Tehshe Hu invited me to seat by her desk and helped me to tailor a health cover according to my needs.
Tehshe explained the benefits, answer all my question professionally summarised everything and put my mind at ease.
Great customers service.

This is ridiculous.
I went there today to downgrade my premium and make a claim under my previous premium.
The lady told me that because I have now downgraded my premium, my previous premium is also downgraded.

After explaining to the lady 3 times about how insurance works, as an ex senior case manager for local insurance companies, she still could not understand how premium works.

And I had to speak to a manager to proceed with my claims. I find this very frustrating that as a customer, I still had to educate the staff on how to do their job by the book.

When I went there in April 2022, both the dentist and oral hygiene technician were very efficient and knowledgeable. They explained the procedure before starting and were very helpful with recommendations for dental care. Good job!

I am an HCF member for the last 1 year. I bought my Hospital and extras cover in this particular branch via Mahajabeen (Maha) who among the staffs is awesome. It’s her courtesy and customer service that prompted me to buy my cover and extras from that branch. So sorry to say that she’s soon getting transferred somewhere else.

The branch is located in the busy street of Burwood road that’s why sometimes it’s confusing to find this particular branch. Two weeks ago I was exactly in the similar situation. I had to make a call for the location of the office only to be inappropriately and rudely answered. To my dismay I later found that it was the branch manager who had answered me that way. What an example Miss Manager, surely this looser needs to be kicked out of HCF if it wants to do any good in today’s competitive market. Personally now on I would never ever suggest anyone for HCF Burwood or even HCF at all.

Not sure why the reviews are so negative but me and my boyfriend just went there to sign up for our extra insurance yesterday and our experience was quite okay!
Not busy at all (probably because of COVID though) and the staff member who served us was kind and helpful.
