Probably had the best emergency experience. Was seen by some Egyptian doctor girl, I believe the name was Mirna. Very kind and sweet, and very pretty. Sat next to me on bed and made me feel safe and comfortable. Explained everything in details. The nurses seemed to love her and kept hugging her. I am used to writing more negative reviews than positive. But this one is worth recognition. Young, smart, and kind. I hope someone sees this and shows it to her.

The hospital staff were all wonderful in being helpful and caring. They did all they could to keep me comfortable.
My only concern: My blood pressure was significantly high every time it was checked, obviously because I was not taking my hypertension medications. They could have checked my medication list, or used Clonidine temporarily. (Surprisingly, they did figure out I take Atorvostatin).

ABSOLUTE WORST HOSPITAL IN THE WHOLE OF THE UNITED STATES. Do yourself a favor and go to a different hospital. I have never in my life had a worst experience in a medical facility. They should be ashamed to call themselves a hospital/emergency room. NEGATIVE STARS is what they deserve. And the ER staff should be ashamed of their extremely poor work ethics. Have some pride in what you do and the oath you took to care for those in need. Shameful!

My first initial impression from the sign in receptionist was great she did an excellent part in take care of each patient. After sitting for no longer then 10mins to 20 mins I was impressed by the flow of the ER. My only initial concern e waiting room was a little rude or overwhelmed. Let me explain I needed to use the restroom and was unable to walk to the nearestd he just wheel me to the nearest restroom, his answer was no there will be a nurse here to help you with that. As I sit patiently for 5-8mins one, I initially asked the young tall nlondish hair guy blonde head guy, his answer was no there will be a nurse to help you soon, 5-8 mins no nurse appeared , but he came back and proceeded to ignore my request, so I couldn’t hold it any longer and jumped with one leg into the hallway to flag anyone down for assistance. Fortunately one of your staff members who was late after helping me, because she mention I haven’t even clicked in yet, but I’d rather help a patient first , this young lady went above and beyond and may have gotten in trouble for helping me not to contaminate the medical area. She was a woman of color short and very polite she made sure I didn’t hurt myself and she brought me back into the waiting room in the wheel chair and asked if there was anything else she could do for me. I replied no and God bless you for you generosity. The same reason I came into medical facility to receive help is the same way I left unable to moved with unbearable pain. My circumstances have gotten worse and on the website it list this hospital as being able to have orthopedic surgeons on deck I initially spoke to none the day of my visit. I wasn’t given any days off and with my job it’s standing bending and lifting all day. Also as a Medical Assistant I believe no one took the time out to fully look at examine and evaluate my knee correctly. I give the initial visit a thumbs down. And a thumbs up to the receptionist who was polite, prompt and kind to all of the patients in the lobby there was no rudeness present.

Oh my stay.there was excellent thanks to the doctor's and nurses for helping to save my life I'm greatful to God and to the doctors and staff that help to keep me alive God bless you . And thank him for all the support I'm getting I'm recovering slowly but surely. Thanks again to you all from the hospital to the rehab again God bless you all.

I visited this facility today with my little sister, who slipped and fell, injuring her head. Unfortunately, we encountered unprofessional behavior from Dr. Merna Wilson, who dismissed her injury without examining the cut and suggested it would heal on its own. We later sought a second opinion, and another doctor properly treated her injury by gluing it together. This experience was disappointing and concerning, and I felt it important to share.

I just want to say first off due to the INCOMPETENCE of this hospital I was once again hospitalized (I did not come back to HCA) because the DRS at HCA POINCIANA contacted my prescribing dr (who was affiliated with HCA)--at the time and took away my blood pressure medication. I was at stroke level when I went into the ER last month. Thanks HCA POINCIANA.

The reason i was admitted to HCA Poinciana was due to an illness that caused me to have acute renal failure. I've had high blood pressure due to preclampsia from having my child. I've been on blood pressure medication for almost a decade. I was treated as if I wasn't a human being during my stay. I would suggest the director take a look at the cameras on 8/29 between the hours of 5 & 6 on level 3 in room 315 and see just how your staff treats your patients. I left after 2.5 days of being admitted due to THE RACISM from the CNA & the nurses.

If you care about your loved ones stay away.
