We were rather troublesome patients because we were pressed with time for our son’s kindy enrollment and also he was vaccinated overseas. The very kind nurses, doctors and staff helped us through all the hurdles and our son is ready for his kindy now in time! Thank you so much! Highly recommended.

This was my second visit to this practice and I saw the same GP, Dr Yasumitsu Takao, both times. The booking process was comprehensive, and the receptionists were very polite and welcoming. After a 30 minute wait for a 9:30am appointment (40 minutes late for the previous appointment), the GP I saw was unapologetic and disorganised. He was unaware that I was taking a particular medication, which he had prescribed previously, and he couldn’t find the results of previous blood tests, which he had ordered, despite the practice calling me with the results. He was quite rude and dismissive, to the extent that I requested a form of my current medication that doesn’t require constant refrigeration (again, it was one he had prescribed during the last visit), arguing that I didn’t know what I was taking. He instead prescribed the one I didn’t want, which needs to be kept in the fridge. Very disappointing and a huge worry to think that he’s looking after potentially vulnerable patients who neither have the ability to recall their medication regimen, nor provide informed consent.

I recently returned to this medical practice after returning to Brisbane & as I’d always had a great experience in the past with this being my chosen medical practice I did not hesitate to schedule appointment here.

A long consultation was recommended although I felt that was not necessary however I agreed to that & my appointment was scheduled with DR YASUMITSU TAKAO whim I’d never met.

My appointment was brief & no longer than 15 minutes however I paid the fee for a long consultation as requested.

The same day I called to request a Medical Certificate to be emailed to me from DR YASUMITSU TAKAO & spoke with the receptionist to ask her to arrange this with DR YASUMITSU TAKAO as he had all the relevant details & necessary dates.

The receptionist called the next day & she advised that the had spoken with DR YASUMITSU TAKAO who requested a phone appointment with me & when I asked about it to ensure there would NOT be ANY fee naturally as I’d paid for a long consultation but only required 15 minutes as outlined.

I was informed by the receptionist that DR YASUMITSU TAKAO was willing to charge a reduced rate?

I expressed my dissatisfaction about this & explained why I was NOT happy to pay ANY additional unnecessary fee, however this was nonnegotiable.

DR YASUMITSU TAKAO is CLEARLY only interested in maximising his FEES in a VERY unethical way!

I will NOT be returning to this clinic & can NOT recommend DR YASUMITSU TAKAO or this practice as a practice of CARE for their clients!
