I wish I could give this centre 100 stars! I can't explain what a god send they have been to me in helping me with looking after my elderly parents! Tony at reception in particular has been brilliant. My parent's issues have been complex and forever changing. Tony has been going way over and beyond to get documents and appointments in ridiculous time frames. I have not been easy with all our time frames and extraordinary requests Tony has truly made my life so much easier during such a trying, sad time and I am so grateful. Anyone who is a carer knows what a difference providers can make to your sanity. Tony has been a hero to me. As a medical centre owner I have also come across many Doctors and the Harbour Neurology team are extraordinary. Thank you!

Update: I have heard back from Dr Mobbs and finally acquired the letter I needed for my father. Thank you.
--

I am extremely disappointed with Dr. Mobbs' handling of my father's case. After seeing her in early February and undergoing an MRI, we received a phone consultation in April where she diagnosed three serious degenerative conditions. She promised a management plan and a referral for increased medication dosage to be sent following the call, but never heard from her again. Despite countless emails and phone calls that were unanswered, except for the apologies of the receptionist, who seemed equally as frustrated with the lack of response from Dr. Mobbs.

My father recently had a fall due to the mobility issues that come with the disease, leading him to be sent to hospital with a broken hip. I can't help but think if the dosage was increased as originally recommended, a fall may have been avoided. Further, the hospital made it clear to me just how crucial the right dosage is for this disease and were equally concerned we never heard back from the Neurologist.

The lack of communication and care displayed by Dr. Mobbs is deeply disappointing and concerning. I cannot recommend her services based on this experience.

Our family are so grateful for Dr Mobbs level of empathy, understanding and patience.
Our appointment didn’t feel rushed - we left feeling that Dr Mobbs cares.
After experiencing the cognitive decline of our Mother for many, many years, and talking to multiple health professionals regarding Mum’s memory and cognitive issues, we’ve finally found someone who was able to provide us with some answers and a plan.
I wish we had of found Dr Mobbs years ago.
Highly recommend.

Dr Rowena Mobbs is an exceptional Neurologist. I appreciated her thorough examination complimented with a skilled and compassionate care plan.
After a year desperately trying to find the cause of my disability I finally have a direction towards recovery.
I am incredibly grateful to FND Australia for the recommendation.
Thank you

Dr Alexis Selby at Sydney Cognitive is an exceptional neurologist and has helped me to effectively manage my chronic migraines. She is smart, efficient, empathetic and really willing to listen and tailor treatment to the patient's needs. This is particularly important to me due to having seen other neurologists in the past who actively disregarded the need for a migraine treatment regime to be considered against the psychiatric medications I already take). Highly recommend Syd Cog for management with inflammation, debilitating migraines / pain and if you are seeking a place where a wide range of treatments are offered.

The receptionist was rude and hung up on me before i had a chance to ask a question. This is in a conversation that lasted less than 30 seconds. I dont know how good their doctors are though.
