Pretty upset about this whole experience today I’ve had on an off issues with this practice. Some of the doctors that are rude and dismissive and don’t actually listen to you. I generally have no troubles with Dr Abby but today I had problems with the receptionist regarding trying to get a copy of my referrals, I received them the last appointment that I had there and they have either been misplaced or thrown out. I don’t know what happened to them and we all understand that things get misplaced I tried to call receptionist to ask if they could please replace my referral simply by printing it out or emailing it to me and that it should be on my record. They proceeded to tell me that they basically couldn’t help me but they would have a look and get back to me. I never heard back from them for ages. I had to follow up followed up 20 minutes later they still had no answer regarding whether they could even get them I followed up another 30 minutes later still couldn’t help me and when I said to the lady your saying that you can’t help me at all she didn’t say anything. She had also told me the other doctors were to busy to help so your telling me that your staff can’t take 5 minutes of there time to reprint or resend a referral and apparently they need permission from that doctor to print it out again even tho he has already printed them out once before and given permission this is ridiculous. They proceeded to get back to me Five minutes before my appointment which needed the referral for and I had made very clear that my appointment was soon and that the place i had my appointment is always busy and can be very hard to get into and that needed help asap when they eventually got back to me bc I had to get the doctor to resend it to me which he then got paid for simply for copying a referral. He had already written out. I expect better people wonder why people don’t bother getting their health checked for people who suffer with anxiety and/or have very busy schedules this can cause problems and not make people want to get their health sorted or simply not have the time. Put more efforts into your patience stop undermining your patients and actually listen to what they have to say.

I went in for an obligatory follow up appointment to collect/discuss my blood test results. It was with another doctor as the one issuing it was not working. I was seen 45 mins later than confirmed booking. Appointment went for 15 mins ( I recorded it as I was racing against time to make it back at work) and was told by the lovely receptionist I will be billed $80 for that appointment. I've asked the doctor and practice to ring me to discuss, waited over 24 hours now with no response.
My first appt with Dr Kevin was great - he is brilliant - I highly recommend him.

Don't trust dr Eggens judgement. 2 second look in my ear after it was leaking yellow pus all night, and he says take some norofen, and charges $80!!!! Total rippff

Had pathology done and 10 days later still hadn’t heard anything from the practice. I had to call myself to follow up results. I was then told to go on my health record as my results were there, but unfortunately they weren’t. Now I need to follow up again. Either a doctor or admin staff should contact patients with results, shouldn’t require so much effort on behalf of the patient.

The service quality has been positively enhanced. It's a better clinic now and I liked the service of the receptionist ladies. They were respectful, unlike previous receptionists

I totally agree with the reviews left by Manuela and Nate Swift, I have also had bad experiences with Dr Andrew Summers (I see he is no longer listed on their website). He berated me for asking for pain killers, told me the only reason I felt pain was because I was depressed and gave me a script for antidepressants, which had a known side effect of hot flushes, even though I had just explained to him that I was perimenopausal and suffering from bad nightly hot flushes. One simple x-ray would have told him that I actually had an osteoarthritic hip. The reason for the 3 stars is that there are a couple of good doctors at this practice.
Update Dec 2024, the good doctor I used to see has left this practice, I instead saw Dr Nirmala and have to say it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had, she was totally dismissive and borderline rude. There was a good review left about her, but I did not see that side of her at all.

I am writing to formally express my frustration regarding my recent experiences with GP Dr. Abiola Olowu as My first appointment was canceled by the same GP Dr Abiola Olowu which was already disappointing. Now, I was scheduled for a phone appointment today at 12:50, and it is now well past that time without any communication from the doctor. This utter lack of professionalism is absolutely unacceptable.

I expect far more consideration and respect in a healthcare setting. As a result of this experience, I will be leaving a negative review to ensure that others are aware of the poor service I received from Dr Abiola Olowu . I sincerely hope this feedback leads to immediate improvements to prevent such incidents in the future.

Dr Shah is wonderful. Atif and Abiola are to be avoided at all costs, and be prepared to wait an hour (even if you have the first or second appointment of the day) as the doctors routinely arrive late (shows the value they place on their customer's time and health) and the receptionists are dishonest (today I got told with contempt that the reason the appointment for my son who was bleeding from the ear after Atif's latest 'care') was pushed back in the queue by three places because Atif had to see one emergency contact (great maths there receptionist)). Honestly wish you could see the wonderful Dr Shah without having to step foot in that place, thank god for telehealth.
