Very easy to make initial appointment and very lovely and accommodating staff at the desk. However, the man I saw was quite abrupt and didn’t really want to listen to what I had to say. But very quick to get into the appointment. Only waited 2 minutes.

I booked an appointment at Gymea Skin Cancer Centre a couple of months in advance specifically to see a female doctor. I was instructed to arrive 10 minutes early, which I did. My appointment was scheduled for 12:15, but I was left waiting for 1 hour prior to being seen. It’s unclear why they ask patients to arrive early when the doctor is running behind schedule. They seem to overbook, and despite being told “you’re next”, multiple patients were called before me to see the specific doctor I booked with. The doctor i saw also told me she never runs on time (so it makes no sense to book appointments back to back if that is the case). I absolutely do not recommend, go elsewhere.

I was very impressed with the skin cancer check I had today with Dr Akash Thakkar. He was knowledgeable and thorough. I have been to quite a few different Doctors for skin checks at other places. One who cut out six different areas to be biopsied, only for them to all come back clear. One who seemed like he was in a rush to go somewhere and spent possibly two minutes looking me over. Another who is highly credentialed and very charismatic but he basically just had a chat and scanned me over in a few seconds. Today I found the Doctor I am happy and confident to return to.

I was seen to by Dr. McKeag who made sure to explain all the skin check procedure steps clearly and ensured my comfort throughout the check.

No surprises and certainly a clinic that you can be sure to receive the treatment you would want to expect from a healthcare service.

Was recommended to the Gymea Skin Cancer Centre and i can understand why !
The staff are welcoming and efficient and the doctor I saw, Dr Genevieve Tan, was incredible!

Very thorough, checked everywhere, amazing bedside manner and started treating me immediately!

Very , very impressed !
