We have been going to the centre since 2020 and always get treated with respect and empathy from the staff. We had a sickly newborn in 2021 and the reception staff came to know us and made sure our baby was seen as a priority when we needed and if possible, they are always kind and considerate. The nurse Cass does all our children’s vaccinations and has actually picked up on some underlying issues with both of our boys which has helped immensely.
Yes appointments can be hard to come by but in a climate where there is a shortage of doctors this is to be expected and cannot be controlled by the staff who do their best to get everyone seen.

Edited to add: I am absolutely appalled by the receptionist. Disgusting attitude and absolutely ZERO professionalism. The centre really needs to clean house and get some new staff up front!!

If your going to need to see a doctor because you are suddenly sick or are needing one due to suffering of any kind (but don't need to waste emergencies services)... be sure to plan it in advance.?

They used to be dependable and reliable, but over the last 6 months the whole place seems to be going downhill.
The receptionists are awful to deal with; their snooty attitudes and complete lack of care or empathy is atrocious.
The only decent doctor there, when she's there, is Ameeta Patel... but good luck getting in to see her.

My husband and I have been attending the Gwandalan Summerland Medical Centre since it opened. The practice, which is extremely busy, has always been staffed by friendly and helpful staff. It’s facilities are excellent. The doctors and nursing staff are knowledgeable and informative and treat you as a human in need of care. We are both very happy with the services provided.

I've had a whole raft of medical issues to deal with in the last 12 months and Dr Brednya has been excellent. He always takes his time to explain things properly to me and he actually listens too! The staff have been really accomodating and squeeze me in last min when they have availability. Robyn in particular is always really helpful and friendly. We're really lucky to have the Centre on our doorstep. I know it's a struggle to get seen on the Central Coast. Keep up the good work guys!

I have been going to Gwandalan Summerland Point Medical Centre for about a year now with various medical problems. First up the receptionists are very polite and helpful. I have a very good and professional doctor who is very easy to talk to. And the nurse is so easy to talk to,and explains everything so that you understand.

I have been a patient of Dr Brednya’s since he opened the medical centre. Every visit I am greeted by reception with professionalism and genuine care - in particular Robyn who has always been incredibly friendly.
I have never felt rushed and Dr Bredyna’s detailed review each time has always resulted in a correct diagnosis or just making me better! I couldn’t recommend this medical centre more highly. It’s always clean with a friendly environment.
Love the bamboo garden in the middle too !!

My family and I have been patients at this surgery since it opened. Our doctor is Dr Brednya and occasionally we see Dr Patel. Both doctors have always been professional, caring and compassionate. The ladies at reception are always friendly and very helpful. Thank you all so much!
