The natural surroundings are incredibly peaceful and help you reconnect with yourself in ways I never expected.

What makes Gunnebah different is the combination of evidence-based therapies, a warm and non-judgmental community, and an atmosphere that feels more like a retreat than a rehab. The team are not only highly professional but also genuinely compassionate. I especially appreciated the holistic approach that addressed my physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.

Having my own private room, access to group therapy, and time for reflection in such a serene environment made all the difference. I now feel stronger, clearer, and more equipped for a life of sustainable recovery.

I am extremely grateful for all of Gunnebah’s staff members and just the beautiful spirit Gunnebah’s land holds. I can truthfully say I wouldn’t be 30 days into my sobriety without Gunnebah .

I was a guest at Gunnebah for 6 weeks and am so grateful for every moment. My stay there has changed my life and my view on my addiction. My only regret is that I did not go sooner. All the staff are absolutely amazing and truly care for the guests and their needs. The program and activities are really well balanced so your stay does not become tiresome. I cannot recommend Gunnebah enough to assist people with their addiction and recovery.

Without sounding too dramatic, Gunnebah saved my life. If like me, you’ve reached that point where you’ve lost hope and things seem to be getting harder rather than easier, I encourage you to take a step into this world which felt much more than just a rehab.
The location alone makes you feel like you’re at one with nature and they truly capitalise on it with adventures and activities. And the way they nourish you with some of the best food you’ll have cooked for you despite any food allergies you may have is the icing on the cake at the end of the day.
But the true key to the experience is the therapy and therapists and how your educated through classes and workshops about everything surrounding your addiction. And that knowledge stays with you long after you leave, if you put the work in while you’re there.
The team at Gunnebah are some of the kindest and most understanding and patient people you’ll ever meet.
Going to Gunnebah was the best gift I have ever given myself in my 35 years on this earth.

I stayed at Gunnebah drug rehab Centre for three weeks as a volunteer. It was the most quiet place I’ve ever been. It’s surrounded by mountains, rainforests, and all the animals you could imagine. Living there feels like live back to the old times in history when human are still tight to nature, a part of nature, it made my heart sing every morning I step outside my beautiful room. Stuff there are professional and easy going, Chris the manager is one of the best person in the world! He’s kind, humorous and always have a lot of stories to tell! Thank you!
