Wish we had the option to choose no star here.
We went there 6 o'clock in the morning wait until nearly 9 o'clock without anything.
Worst experienced ever, my baby is hard to breath, they keep saying wont be long
And the main thing is the waiting area is empty, we where only the patient .why some of the staff can't do something to help.
Until we see one by one all of them gone

Absolutely a 10/10 my partner and I had a newborn I forgot to request a private room so I could stay the night and one of the nurses/midwife’s waived the fee so I could stay in a unit on hospital grounds less then a five minute walk all the nurses/midwifes are amazing and take take such good care and answered all questions I had so thoroughly and was very informative with everything

My experience in ED was a nightmare there was a nurse that was on during most of my stay that treated me badly..She gave me breakfast and I told her I'm sorry but I don't eat much on the tray. She didn't ask me if I wanted sandwiches in place of the breakfast tray. I went to the canteen and brought a wrap I was sitting on the bed eating it
When.she told me to go and wait in the waiting room for m u ride to bring me he to Hay. I really got a bad vibe from her and I can tell you I was nice to her. I picked up my two bags and followed her she opened the door and didn't say anything to Me. I thought I would get the man in the front office a taxi for me . As I was asking him and can I add zi was crying my eyes out a lovely kind and caring nurse by the name of Sarah came along and got me to sit down ..she was lovely she got me pain relief which the nurse in ED
would only give me panadol.Sarah got m r a hot lunch while I was waiting for my ride home. Thank you so much Sarah. I can't remember the nurses name but Sarah knows her name. I just hope no one else gets treated like I did. Please believe me I didn't deserve to be treated like that. Dr shaz in Hay knows why I need stronger pain relief then panadol. I am in Melb and my cuz had a baby - The staff were super helpful in making sure my cuz got the gift I wanted to send in. even passed on the messge - very nice of the staff.

I had a very unpleasant experience with this base hospital. The waiting time was significantly longer than expected, and they consistently called out people who arrived after me. I just don't understand how private health insurance and Medicare work together. Health is of utmost importance, and Australia needs to make improvements in this regard.

Would rate less if I could. When having a blood test I didn't even consent for after being brought in at night, they missed the vein in my hand and instead of trying again, moved the needle around while it was still in my hand. Couldn't find the vein, and moved on to my dominant hand instead missing once but trying again that time. The most painful and almost horror movie worth experience I have ever had. Do not recommend.
