I have been going to Dr Quinn for over 30 years.
I live in Bundy and will still travel for 5 hours eachway to see him.
He has helped me better than any other GP.
His contacts with surgeons and othe medical professionals are at the highest.
Y go elsewhere.?
People winge.
I couldnt be more happier and likewise my friends i have recommended to see him.
They too are more than happy.
Go Dr Quinn.

Honestly, they are all friendly and polite, but there is a reason why they have same day appointments available, as opposed to all other GP clinics. It’s a money grab. $80 for a 5 min appointment, and I need to inform the GP of the requirements for a prescription medication. And then, for the results of the blood test as a requirement for the prescription, there is nothing to report on the results and yet he insists on having another $80 appointment where he hands me the prescription and opens the door for me to leave. $160 for less than 10 minutes in total and no information from him.

Update:
Thank you for your reply. Did I ask if it was possible to get my prescription without an appointment as I was sure there was nothing in the results to discuss? Yes. Was there anything to discuss about my results? No. Was I told I would not be given the results without paying the full $80? Yes. I do not know where you got the idea that I got a specialised quote from anywhere for anything. The prescription I got is standard and there was nothing in my blood results to discuss. If you normally bulk bill the second appointment, why was I charged $80 for 2 minutes of the doctors time, when the prescription could have been given to me without the need to book an appointment? That is what I think it’s a money grab. There was nothing to discuss from my results. Period, and the doctor would not provide me with the prescription if I didn’t pay. How is that fair?

After a recent trip away it was great to bring the family down to Dr Cliff for our annual check ups. Dr Cliffs experience is reassuring and it was great to see him again.
Dr Quinn is one of the most dedicated GP's I have ever been seen by - a real "old school" Dr who still takes walk ins, is no fuss and really takes your concerns seriously.
He is and always has been great with both of my young children for the different immunizations required. Both kids remember Dr Quinn positively and do not dread seeing him.
A wealth of knowledge and experience.

How relieving to see a doctor who is both professional, excellent in patient communication, highly skilled in procedures and non judgemental. I had My first appointment with Dr Quinn today, after being new to area and not having a GP. My issues were complex and serious and required removal of 15 complex stitches. Didn't feel a thing. Consummate professional. Also respectful, wise and made me feel heard and comfortable. Dr Quinns receptionist is also an asset , kind and wonderful. This has eased completely the anxiety I experienced predicting the appointment and outcome. Thankyou Doctor, after past experiences with 1 star doctors , you are 10 star!!

I used to see Dr Quinn in the early 90’s for approx 10years, he was my GP WITH BOTH PREGNANCIES.. I moved overseas and when I returned I have lived on the northside. I had a wonderful doctor very similar to Dr Quinn and unfortunately he moved away So now I drive 2 hours to see Dr Quinn and I would prefer that as I get treated and could not find any doctor that is prompt, direct, understands my needs and as knowledgeable as Dr Quinn. He is truely a godsend. If only we could replicate him.

About the early 1980's Doctor Cliff Quinn started at the Greenslopes Medical Centre after Doctor Arrowsmith retired. Because of Doctor Cliff Quinn's superb medical knowledge. His talents brought popularity along . Gets Patients in and out reasonably quick. Gentle, kind and addresses your concerns clearly. Bulk Billing and a indoor waiting room as well as a adjacent outdoor waiting room. Some Patient Parking going along Ellena Avenue then into the left. The best Doctor I have been to and highly recommend.

Horrible experience.
Called first thing in the morning to make an appointment, was told walk ins till 12pm and appointments in the afternoon. Walked in the place about 30mins later, was asked for my Medicare card on arrival and told to sit down in the waiting room with one other person there. 5mins later the other person goes in, 5 more mins and the receptionist finally talks to me to check my details, then realising I'd never been to the practice. At least 10mins of waiting just to establish I was a new patient and then I get told there is an $80 "cash" fee for first visits. Seems dodgy straight away and who carries cash, so I had to leave to get cash and come back. Major inconvenience, especially when there were at least two prior opportunities to tell me this, without wasting my time waiting for nothing. I go get cash, come back and fill out the new patient form, then the real wait starts. Empty waiting room, no one with the doctor and I easily would have sat there 20mins+ before getting seen. Doctor calls me in, office directly off reception and front desk, it's a small space, he doesn't close the door. It's a doctors office with no privacy!? He asks me what's wrong, I describe my symptoms and ask for a prescription, barely asks me any further questions, comes over to me and places a stethoscope on my back, on top of my shirt, and listens for maybe 3 seconds, 5 at a stretch. Goes back, writes me a script and then asks me if I'm "happy" as he hands it to me. What exactly I have to be happy about that this point I am not sure, but shocked is a better description. I would have been in his office maybe 60-90 seconds, I was completely blown away by the whole experience and left dumbfounded as I walked out. Sure this guy is eccentric, the green suit is one thing, but absolutely zero care or consideration came from this person, who I struggle to call a doctor, it was complete disdain shown the whole time and no actual doctoring to be seen. I would hate to be in serious medical trouble and see this person, nothing would get diagnosed. Time to retire I think.
Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere, this place is not worth your trouble.

UPDATE after reading the colourful reply, clearly written by the doctor. Reading over this and other reviews it is pretty easy to see he makes a habit of posting unprofessional and petty responses. Maybe if he put a little more effort into his practice and less energy into his social media presence he might not get so many negative reviews.

As stated in my original review, I was not informed about an initial consultation fee on the phone or on arrival at the practice. If I was already told why wouldn't I bring cash or then sit around for 10mins+ until I was told!? Clearly this guy enjoys lying to himself and justifies everything in his own head.

It took 45mins+ in a virtually empty practice, including time to go get cash out. Not sure about this fast turn around time that brings you so much pride, it was not the speedy process you pretend.

My opinion is false about patient confidentiality, yet my in person experience is there was no privacy, may as well have spoken in reception. Right.

Contactless consultation!? Dr didn't even know what was wrong with me and now claim they offered this? Kidding yourself. Contactless consultations must describe 99% of his day.
And plotting my review while waiting is my favourite part of the response! lol

I didn't request specific medication, I requested support from a doctor. I don't prescribe to myself, I seek the advice of a medical professional. Well, with the exception of today.
Nobody asked the doctor to cure anyone in 90 seconds, what ridiculousness. You've lost the plot. 90 seconds is how long it took to rush me through once I finally got in his office. Classic.

Judging by the responses I and others have received, this doctor makes a sport of running people down who dare speak out about his poor conduct and deflecting blame. Not a great look from a member of the community with such "high standards".
The level of narcissism is staggering.

My wife and I are extremely cognisant of the fact that addressing patient’s ailments can often be a thankless and overbearing task in the medical profession.
Therefore, although I am not in the habit of writing a review, I feel compelled to do so as a result of the ongoing superb way in which Dr Quinn and his staff continually address my, and my wife’s ongoing medical requirements.
Dr Quinn has been our physician for around 20 years. Throughout this period, especially during the challenging Covid period, Dr Quinn continues to excel by providing the most professional, personable, empathetic medical and physical care. He possesses excellent communication skills and is always approachable, attentive, informative, and friendly.
Ageing can often be a challenging and unwelcome process, with many unforeseen obstacles.
However, it is it is extremely comforting to know my wife and I can call on Dr Quinn’s skill, knowledge and expertise and have our medical ailments addressed in an immediate and efficient manner.
Oh yes, Dr Quinn’s attire is quite sublime, and he is often up for a joke and a little humour when required, which leaves one with a positive and enthusiastic approach for the rest of the day.

“Happiness is the highest form of health!” so ……….
