Had an appointment with dr Samarasena about mental health with possible referral to specialist.
Felt as she brushed it off and all but laughed at me every time I bought it up. And being male it’s hard enough to talk about this I left with a blood test and a 24 hr monitor for blood pressure. Not at all the reason I visited for.
Update the practice manager made contact and arrange a consultation with a much different doctor that was happy to listen and help me witch was very much appreciated.

The reception staff are always so lovely and welcoming, and the GPs and nursing staff are fantastic. Occasionally, the wait has been a bit long, but that's because the doctors are actually taking the time to give patients the care that they need.
