Meleluca ward gcuh is a disgrace in comparison to robina waratah ward where the staff are nice and caring.
I have experienced both places and meleluca staff search bags and treat patients in an UN caring and disrespectful way.
I pity anybody that is treated by rajah as she is unprofessional and uncaring.
I'm happy they moved me on to waratah where they treat me with respect and a human being.
Certainly different perspectives are worth while considering.

I would not recommend this place to your loved ones. Keep them out.
I had the most traumatic experience ever . Don't let them go there!!
I was ignored
I was not told any rules
I slept in the toilet because it was warmer . My room felt like a freezer.
I had one blanket and one sheet .
Patients were getting treated really poorly . Watch out for one of the wardens because he is an absolute liar!

Worse then a prison, the staff show the patients no dignity, no respect. And they treat them worse than prison inmates, they sedate the patients.
A mentally sound person would definitely lose there mind in this place…….
Absolutely disgusting by staff in this facility.
Absolutely heartbreaking… the rooms are worse than a Prison cell. Why is this place allowed to be running in the condition it is in? A audit will need to be done on this place ASAP!!!!!!!
RISK MAN!!!!!!!!

Awful, abusive people who will not help you, they will just lock you up and force you to take whatever they say is the correct medication, it doesn't matter if you have good insight and a desire to take the right meds, you are just a stupid mental case to them to be controlled properly so they don't suffer any liability.
If you think these people will help your suicidal teenager, you're kidding yourself. They will only ever make things worse, if you want actual mental healthcare it costs money, all you get here is a particularly horrifying kind of abuse, empowered by the state.

For mental health support, don’t put your hope into these guys. Totally incompetent and condescending. If Mary answers the phone hang up before she pushes you further into darker places! Don’t have any faith in the service, seek help another way. These people need professional development in basic care, mental health support and basic customer service.
