I'm extremely disappointed with the "new" medical centre in Gloucester. As a lifelong resident, I've experienced nothing but problems since its opening.

The centre's inability to provide prompt and adequate answers to medical concerns is alarming. I've been battling issues for over a year, only to be met with a dismissive "wait and see" approach.

Today's experience was particularly frustrating. After requesting a blood test twice, I was met with a sigh from the doctor to add The female doctor who stepped in due to the original doctor's lack of knowledge offered two treatment options, However, when she left, I was informed that we would be going with the injection route, (seemingly because it was the easiest option.)
I didn't get a choice.
(Also I got billed for seeing 2 doctors one of which i didn't agree to see)
But hey more money for them right ?

I'm appalled by the poor handover of patient information, which I've seen consistently in the reviews. It's unacceptable to have to repeatedly relay my medical history due to the centre's disorganization.

I will not be returning to this medical centre. The stress and frustration are not worth it.

However I love the reception staff they do such an amazing job and are always kind.

Just the drs and head management of this centre is poor.

I will and I also recommend to anyone experiencing problems to contact the health complaints commission.

The Reception staff and the nurses are excellent. I’m disappointed by some of the fees I have had to pay by the doctors… there seems to be no bulk billing here, even under special circumstances. Some of the interpersonal relationships between the doctor and the patient are not up to scratch.

The Pathology section – which is separate – is run with great efficiency and good interpersonal relationships

Had a referral to get an ECG done for a specialist, rather than just letting me get the ECG done there and billing for it, they also made me see one of their Dr's for a consult that I DID NOT NEED, so then I had to pay for a consult that was unnecessary.

We are travelling. It is not easy to get an appointment during the short period we are in a location. Husband has been ill and taking Codrill for 10 days, and has had thick yellow mucus for four days.Obvious to blind Freddy he needs antibiotics. But no, doctor says continue on Codril for another couple of days, and present to a hospital if symptoms persist! That's why he went to a doctor! So not only is treatment delayed, the hospitals get more unnecessary patients

Incompetent doctors... Medicare waster.
Doctors are regularly replaced and fail to correctly hand over patient treatment details leading to atrocious delays and prolonged suffering for patients.
Also, delaying actual treatment with spurious "wait and see how it is" appointments before finally doing anything, smacks of deception.
The practice is a class action law suit waiting to happen.
My strongest recommendation for your families sake and well-being is to go anywhere else. If this sounds like an accurate representation of your experience please take the time to contact the HCCC (Health Care Complaints Commissioner) and lodge a formal complaint.

Don't bother going. Even if you've been a patient there for clear on 15 years, no doctor is around for long enough to see them and have you as patient long enough to classify them as your General Practitioner. You then have to spend months trying to establish your issues with a new GP, only for them to just dismiss you and leave. Repeatedly.

This is the worst medical centre in the country.
They are refusing to provide me with my medical records despite it being my legal right to have them. They claim the GP decides what records I can have. They also looked up My Health Record when there was no need for them to do so. I will be letting my specialist know about this. They are corrupt bullies.
